The ollege hs an exceptional infrasructure, great buildings and classrooms, the labs are well equipped and there is also a new building in development, making the college one o the top in south campus. Moreover, the teachers for BMS department are friendly, and young, very helpful in studies and maters.
BMS is an up andd coming course of delhi univerrsity, its a professional course, covering all the basics of an MBA, which was my goal, so I took the best college I could get in BmS. The faculties are all doctors an professors, very well educated despite a few. The exams are not so difficult, can be easly passed.
I have opted for internships, but I look for myself via linkedin as the internships from the placement cell are not good and provide no experienece, they keep calling companies looking for sales interns or tele alling, no internship in any good domain. Only once have I ever seen a good intrnship, and from that too, i did not see any student get selected.
The elgibility criteria for internships and placeements is 6.5 cgpa and no backs, if any student needs to sit in placement or get NOCs for their internships, they must fall in this criteria, hardly 15 percent of the students get placee via the placement cell, the highest package is 4.5 LPA, average is 4LPA, my plans after graduation is to pursue masters. No prominent recruiters take part in placements, only 1lattice.
Other than college fees, there are no dditional charges fo students, if you need fiinancial aid you can contact the admissoon desk, the faculties are really helpful in such scenarios, each course has a IC, which personally helps in such cases.
We get a fest named JOSH, in march every year, which is pretty good, an average artist comes, multiple stalls, fine food. The library is nice, quiet, open from 9-5, it has sufficient ACs, books, fans, charging ports. The sports departmen however I would say, lacks a lot, no good teams, or recruitment, the equipement is mostly outdated. The societies and cubs used to be pretty active before the new principle, but since the past 3 months, they are basucally dead.
The college doesnt provide hostel facilities, however they have partnered up with multiple PGs and help students find acceptable PGs for themselves, you get a PG mainly in Govindpuri, they are affordable but not of quality. I recommend finding your own PGs or flats to live in.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
