- The thing that I like about my college is the availability of good professors and infrastructure which is huge. The campus life is very good with different programs being conducted time to time. Many famous personalities visit our college guiding and motivating the students.
- The college provides various fun activities such as trip to different places which makes our college life interesting.
Dislikes
- I dislike the P Block of our college which is very hot during summer season.
- The college doesn't has it's own hostel.
Remarks :
I got this college in the spot round 2 of DU CSAS. I had given CUET exam for getting into this college. The cut off for this course wasn't high as it doesn't provide an honours degree but if you're preparing for any government exam then this course will give you time and degree which will allow you to give the exam.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I want to go into civil services in the future and for that I need degree and time which this course gives me. The professors are highly qualified and intelligent and their teaching methods are very good. The exams are conducted timely.
Internships Opportunities :
No I have not opted for any intership because I had got ER in my first semester which doesn't allow me to take part in internships. But there are internship opportunities in the college which had helped many of my friends and classmates.
Placement Experience :
The placement cell of our college is CYFLE which is very active. They conduct many programs and sessions inviting successful personalities to our college and help the students in providing support to the students in their goals.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tuition fees is as follows:-- 1st year fees is ?2055 2nd year fees is ?18995 3rd year fees is ?18765 Other than the tuition fees we have to pay examination form fees which varies according to the subjects taken but approximately it is around ?1750 per semester. There is also financial assistance scheme in our college which is very effective for students whose financial status isn't good. Professors are
Campus Life :
The fest of our college is SABRANG which is conducted every year in The library is huge with a very good amount of books and pyqs. It also has reading rooms with seperate compartments and the room has 8 ACs. The classrooms are good but not all classrooms have AC installed. The P-Block of our college is very bad because it has no other floor above it which makes it very very hot for us to study and professors to teach us. There are AC installed but it doesn't work. There are sports activities mainly Archery and Volleyball other than that we have Taekwondo, Karate, Kabaddi, Basketball, Football, Cricket, Chess, Table tennis teams which compete in different level competitions. There are many societies for all departments which makes our college life really interesting and make us feel happy such as Timbre Music Society, Soprano Western music society society, and many more.
Hostel Facilities :
Food quality now is very good as we have new catering services who have joined our college. The menu is large with foods from different parts of India. The locality is Kalkaji , Govindpuri which is close to the college and many PG and Flats and rooms are available here.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
