Likes
- Buildings have all facilities and is clean.
- Our college is the greenest college. We have good canteen.
Dislikes
- Campus life is not that good because it doesn't come under main south campus.
- Administration is poor. They do everything very late.
Remarks :
I chose this college because it has a good NIRF ranking and NAAC grade . It also has experienced faculty and friendly atmosphere as per seniors. It has a big and beautiful infrastructure with lot of greenery. I gave CUET exam toh come here. I prepared through books and YouTube videos.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because it is good. It has all science subjects like physics and chemistry and not focuses on only one core subject. The faculty is very good. Their teaching methods are easy and understandable
Internships Opportunities :
No I haven't applied for any intership as I'm a society member and I get paid there. Asian paints and other companies come here for hiring us. We can work there as an intern during our 3rd year of course.
Placement Experience :
Good placement opportunities through the placement cell CYFLE which is active. They provide many workshops and internships also which helps boost our knowledge and experience and skills. Highest package offered was around 6LPA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees of first year was 20155 which included caution fees also. Second year fees was 18975 and third year fees will be around 18500 approx. These include all lab fee and maintenance fees. Other than this there is ?1750 approx fees for examination form per semester.
Campus Life :
Very good social life. We hangout near cafeteria and have lot of fun activities there. We play games and sing and dance. During our fest SABRANG we enjoy a lot and participate in different activities. The library is big and has enough books.
Hostel Facilities :
There is no hostel. I live in 2bhk flat in sharing. There are pgs near the college campus for both boys and girls with all facilities available. Near the college pgs are expensive but in a little far area the pgs are affordable.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
