one of the major factors is that it is one of the best IPU colleges , with one of the best infrastructure and locality. everything is quite nearby including cafes and places to hangout. the campus is lush green, with good placement records and one of the best canteens.
the course curriculum is a bit old styled, but the faculty tries to explain the concept in modern ways. the overall academics is fine, but the friendly nature and way of explaining of majority of the faculty makes the course a bit easy.
i am currently in second year so i have not opted for any internships yet, the internship oppurtunities from college side are provided from 3rd year onwards, with regular campaigns being organised to help all the students.
the placement oppurtunities in my course are quite good. the average package is about 9lpa, and the major recruiters are ZS assosciates, TCS and COGNIZANT etc. the placement cell is quite active trying to provide placement and internship oppurtunities to all the students. the placement ratio is about 95%, which is quite good.
the fees for the first year of college is 1,75000, for second year it decreases a bit to about 1,66,000, and for successive year it decreases in the same way. the overall expense of college, including canteen food expense and travelling end upto about 700000 for 4 years
the campus life is very social and active, regular events are organised by student chapters and socities. the campus is very interactive and active all the time. the infrastructure is amazing and specially the canteen. two more buildings for the btech department are being made with world class facilities. clubs such IOSC, IEEE, QAAFILA and VENUVA are very active.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
