This college is known for its good academics and research oriented works. Timely tests are taken by departments to keep up with students’ performance. Its ranked among to 10 medical colleges in india based on various surveys However, being located in east delhi , area in and about appears bit dull for college fun activities. Admission for all seats of mbbs is through neet ug exam held annually. Students are allotted seats based on their rank and merit list prepared by process of counselling done my MCC ( medical counselling committee)
In most cases, passion for medicine and satisfaction to see people heal makes one pursue MBBS course Faculties here are top notch . Many professors/ HODs are among the author of leading medical books. They focus on clinical orientation which is important in medical field. Term exam are held with proper schedule. Time table for exam are given well in advance to students . Difficulty level for exam paper is moderate. If you have studied well , one can easily go through it well.
There is compulsory internship for one year after giving final university exam. During this period you get clinical exposure in different departments and you have hospital duties for particular hours per day Monthly stipend during internship is ?26300
After completing MBBS , there is no such campus placements. Generally you have two choice , you can pursue post graduate further or if not that you can join as junior resident in any hospital of your choice If you wish to join as junior resident in GTB hospital ( hospital linked to university college of medical sciences) , notification are released once or twice a year during march april with monthly payment of about ? 1,26,000

Life in college campus is never boring . It has huge campus of around 90 acres with lot of greenery, so a plus point of having fresh air in delhi Ripple is annual intercollege fest held around march- may . There are lot of fun activities like dj night star night prom night Avlanche is intra college fest held annually during winters There are several societies/club that excel in their respective field and one can join them easily according to their field of interests . For eg :- inayat (fashion society) , Manchayan ( drama society) , lit soc ( literary society) There is cricket ground , basketball court with turf , badminton court , volleyball court .
There is seperate hostel for boys and girls. And a major pros is everyone gets a single seater personal room from very first day of their college. Hostel room are in good condition with proper space for one bed table chair and almirah Washroom is common and for about 25 students there is 4 toilets and 4 washing area Proper cleaning is done on daily basis Electricity and water supply is uninterrupted 24*7 Mess provides neat and clean hygienic food . Taste may sometimes not be great enough but their is never compromise on hygiene. Food is served three times per day and different menu for different days On menu , north indian style food is served Hostel fees is ?600 per month Mess charges are ?2500 per month And caution money ( refundable ) is ?1000 for hostel and ?2000 for mess

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
