Admission is attained after getting an appropriate rank in the NEET(UG) exam. Soon after the result is announced, the counseling schedule comes and according to it choice filling, choice locking, and college allotment are done. Then you have to report to the college in a specified amount of time, and all your documents are verified. Upon successful verification and completion of other necessary formalities, admission is granted. The college has a very nice campus and is lush green. Students often prefer UCMS over other Delhi colleges for its campus, and single-occupancy hostel rooms are provided right from the first year. Only two other colleges give the same. Academically also, the college excels and is at par with other premier institutions like AIIMS, MAMC, etc. The college building and the hospital building are connected and hence make it easy to travel to and from while in posting. The college also hosts its annual fest, RIPPLE, which marks a week of joy and enjoyment for the students.
I always had the wish to pursue MBBS. Hence I chose this course. The teaching method is also nice, but they could have incorporated a bit more of newer techy methods of information sharing. The frequency of exams changes with the ongoing year of the student. Recently fees have been increased significantly, but it still cheaper than most government colleges in India, and all private medical colleges.
Feet name is RIPPLE, and it was conducted in May this year. The library has ample books, journals, research papers, and other resources. Lecture theatres are well equipped with air conditioners and lights. Students are taught using projectors and PowerPoint presentations. There is a separate society for sports, and almost all major and minor sports competitions are conducted regularly, both intra and inter-college. These are especially more during the fest season. Multiple societies are run by students themselves for recreational purposes, like MANCHAYAN - Dramatics Society, PLEXUS - Music Society, INAYAT, and RENAISSANCE - Dance societies, LITSOC - Quizzing Society, PARWAAZ - Poetry Society, UCAPTURE - Photography society and others. The hostel mess is adequately good and is quite affordable. There has been a recent price hike in the mess price. The hostels are very good and are extremely cheap. If a PG is to be rented, E Pocket is a locality nearby where rooms are easily available.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
