- College infrastucture is old as the college was estd. In 1971 but it is improving. Campus life is one of the best thing here. The moments with the friends are unforgettable memories of the life.
Dislikes
- The college is situated in east delhi which is kindof backward from the central delhi.
Remarks :
I always wanted to take college in Delhi because of the DU quota for doing PG in delhi itself. It was my dream to become a good doctor and study from one of the best MBBS colleges of India. That’s why i chose this college
Course Curriculum Overview :
The MBBS course is very vast and difficult. Academics in my college is very strict in internal assessments and attendance %age. Faculty:- here faculty is very good and explains everything. You can ask them any question related to their subject, they will help.
Internships Opportunities :
I have not opted for internship yet. The intership starts from the starting of 5th year of the course. And the interns get a stipend of approx. 25000? per month and that is one of best things in Delhi colleges that interns get good stipend amount.
Placement Experience :
UCMS is considered one of the best colleges for MBBS. It gives the opportunity to students to get the seat for their PG through DU quota. If you failed in getting PG seat then you can join here as a junior resident and you will be paid for that.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total tuition fee is 25000?(approx) per year from 2023 batch. Before that it was around 7000? per year but now it is increased to 25000? and that’s the thing which i don’t like because the fee should be minimal as it was till 2022
Campus Life :
Campus of my college quite large. It feels like home with friends in the hostel. Our college has cricket and football club Infrastructure is improving. It is good for now but it will be best in coming few years
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel mess is good. We get breakfast, lunch and dinner. The mess is compulsary for hostelers that’s the bad thing for some students who do not want to eat food from mess. Mess fee is 2500? per month for boys and 3000? per month for girls. It is the only college which offers single rooms in new boys hostel from first year itself, but when you get in second year, you will be shifted to old boys hostel and you will get one room for 2 boys for almost 8 months and after that you will get your single room. To apply for hostel you have to fill the hostel form. More the distance of your home from college, more the chances of you to get the hostel.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
