The factors that made me choose this college is I wanted to do designing and loved fashion and styling . Written entrance exam is there and situation test is also conducted to enter into NiFT . So cute off critea depends on you rank and category.
The course is obviously good since I wanted to do lingerie and academic wise you get a lot of exposure to the fashion industry and more such knowledge . Mostly you'll know how to handle people and faculties are good too .
I've opted for internship but will do it soon in other sem . Mostly we knitwear designers work extremely based for knits and not wovens at all so mostly sportswear companies come. Like Aditya Birla a lot of internship take place and more companies.
Yes the job opportunity will not flood you but you need to be skilled and knowledgeable to get a job but campus placement is very good in NIFT Bengaluru. So the highest package goes till 19lpa and lowest goes till 6lpa
I'm not sure but yes the fee structure varies according to the department , and for the category like sc st , you can take a scholarship and a lot of scholarship are available . You can go and check in nift page about everything.
College life in fashion college is actually nice you can wear whatever you want , dressup frequently no judgement and yeah in weekends you go out and all of you live in some other city far from home , you do miss your home but again college it is . You'll get good friends too and just stay away from the toxic ones .
No i haven't my friends did. The of mess I don't think anyone should eat from there personally I had a very bad food poisoning but again it's not the case with everybody. I prefer eating outside the college.
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.
I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

All the faculties are extremely well qualified from top institutions of the world and they are all extremely approachable and nice. The term exams we had were split like CP1, CP2, and CP3 of 20+25+25 marks each. They were some easy ones, and some application based, which develops the engineering thinking mindset
