Likes
- College infrastructure and faculty is good. The staff is helpful and it's not excluded from the main city so you can enjoy the city life as well. And exam patterns are easy, you can easily pass the exams if you regularly attend classes.
- Greenery in college. The college campus looks beautiful after it rains and everything becomes very clean and beautiful. Apart from the greenery, placements are best in this college and real. Most students get placed in one company or more. I myself got placed in 3 companies.
Dislikes
- Hostel infrastructure ( especially girls ) , hostel staff, they treat female students as prisoners. They comment on what a student is wearing or when they go out or come back. They have very strict and senseless hostel timings. In winter hostel timings are 5:30 pm and classes are till 4:30. That just doesn't make sense. And you cannot order food after 9 pm.
- Hostel food is bad and you if you order food they will judge you on spending your parents's money. And there are no college events except a college fest which is no fun at all.
Remarks :
It's comparatively reputed college in punjab and teaching methods are more traditional than modern. Placements are real and genuine, not a click bate to have admissions, it's an aided college. Owned partially by government and by Nankana Sahib Education trust .
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculty is good and approachable. All the professers or knowledgeable and PhD holders. They help students in guiding them and helping them learn new things but only if student is curious and wants to learn.
Internships Opportunities :
Paid and unpaid internships are offered by companies who visit the campus for placement. But for grabbing a college internship you must have a good resume and should master some practical skills apart from your college syllabus.
Placement Experience :
Placement and internship opportunities are decent and genuine. Many reputed companies come to college for the placements for both core and circuit branches, offering a pretty good package as well. And competition is pretty easy to crack.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Detail fee structure is as follow Odd semesters fees is less about 42-47000 rupees + hostel fees of 12000 per semester Even semesters is more about 43-50000 rupees per semester+ hostel fees of 12000 per semester. For boys, hostel fees is 14000 per semester.
Campus Life :
Campus life and social life is decent and more traditional and conservative. The college life totally depends upon your group of friends and the people you hangout with . There are good options to spend evenings like canteens and dance clubs like bhangra, gidda; sports teams like football and basketball and others as well. Gym and swimming pool facilities are available in the campus as well.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels are pretty decent, nothing fancy. No AC rooms are available. Students can have their own coolers. No personal bathrooms. Hostel faculty is very bad and judgemental. They treat female students as prisoners.

To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
