Remarks :
I chose this college due to its background and affordability and also the fact that it is near my home so there is no conveyance problem. It is the best college in ludhiana as per my opinion because it has alot of facilities for its students. To get admission in this college you just have to take the class 12th boards exam and it would allot seat to you merit wise nothing else is required for admission in this college
Course Curriculum Overview :
The academic faculty is one of the best professors i met in ludhiana. They make each subject look easy and along with studies they are helpful.in various terms. Their teaching method is really good as they teach via practical thinking on a blackboard or sometimes they teach via laptop presentations. The exams were not lengthy at all and were really easy if you have attended every lecture.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees to apply for btech in gndec is 70000 for first semester then decreases to approx 50000 per semester after that. They also provide scholarship schemes like PMS scheme for sc/st category. The total fees of the programme without any tuition fee waiver is around 420000
Campus Life :
The campus of gndec is very peaceful and calming as it is filled with greenery and the rich aroma of grass i really love it. There are also multiple fests and events going on in the college every week for example the apex fest which usually arrive in november or december. There is a huge central library which avails various books and journals to the students. The classrooms are well maintained. GNDEC has a commendable amount of sports facilities for students like basketball, volleyball, cricket etc. It also organises a sports meet every year for the students to take part in extracurricular activities and enjoy their college life. There are also various clubs like IETE, ISTE, SCIE, TNP, DMC, etc. These clubs are specialized to handle various tasks.

To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.

Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
