- Loved the experience that were made in college..the faculty is nice ...not very demanding bt yeah the teachers are good and qualified...they explain in a nice way and the way of talking is also nice ...you will feel that you can ask them again to teach you 😊
- Campus life was great .. already missing the campus life .. just one advice..make good friends and enjoy every bit as the time won't come again ..study and enjoy fully in college life
Dislikes
- To be honest..there is nothing such thing to hate in college campus or anything
- Some times when teachers scold us is the only time I hated because who wants to be scolded in college and also yes...tests results 😂
Remarks :
I chose this college as it was near my home place and some people recommended it as a good college .my addmission was during covid so there were no written tests and the addmission was on the basis of jee or 12th percentage. Though there were counselings and I got my college in the first round itself and I didnt want to risk it so I chose this college only .
Course Curriculum Overview :
Honestly I wanted to opt Computer Science from the start and got it here in the 1st counseling itself without any rejections , I also got seat here for specialised courses in computer science like Artificial intelligence and Data science but I wanted to go for core branch itself as I wasn't having enough knowledge for the specialised ones. The teachers are good and qualified. They take enough time to teach us and also are friendly and supportive.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tution fees per sem - Approx Rs. 39,000 which includes lab , sports , development fees . The admission fees was Rs.2000 ...this was for btech Computer science core branch If you go for computer science and add on subjects like data science or AIML or AI then the fee is reduced by Rs.500 per sem , the fee of lateral entry is a bit more like Rs.500 more than normal branches .
Campus Life :
The college campus isn't too huge to be wow but honestly it's huge for me as even in four years I haven't seen the complete college campus. Fests...umm...this was a sad point ...after covid..the college has tried many times to conduct fests but the always get cancelled in the end date. So I haven't attended a proper Fest in my college but yeah there were many programs held in our college and that were amazing..concerts and shows were held like quarterly in our college and I really enjoyed them a lot . Hostel Facilities :
I haven't opted for college hostel but as much as I know they in the start give you a college hostel dorm for 3 in one people room i.e. 3 girls in one room which has 3 bed ,3 almirah and all and later you can shift to double and eventually single rooms I guess. The girls have in time of 7 pm in the evening and hostel mess Is also provided to them

I choose Mechanical Engineering as my course here, as i am interested in Automotive, and also this institute is near my home town. There are permanent faculty members present in institute. According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .
Genuine review of NIT raipur
Placement Experience :
Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
