- Two gates: One gate leads to the highway, and the other connects to the city, making the campus easily accessible from both directions. Convenient location: The campus is surrounded by essential services like a hospital, mall, cafes, and more, ensuring that students have everything they need nearby. In-campus shop: A stationery shop on campus provides easy access to supplies for students. Separate department blocks: Different blocks for each department create a well-organized and focused learning environment. In-campus gym: A gym within the campus helps students maintain physical fitness alongside their academic commitments. In-campus temple: The temple on campus provides a peaceful and spiritual space for students, offering a break from academic pressures.
Dislikes
- No shedded parking: The lack of covered parking spaces makes it inconvenient for students and staff, especially during the rainy season or in the hot weather. Poor maintenance of ground: The maintenance of the ground is not up to the mark, which affects the overall appearance and usability of the campus. No separate parking for four-wheelers: There is no dedicated parking area for four-wheelers, leading to congestion and a lack of order in the parking spaces. Dogs on campus: The presence of stray dogs on campus can be an issue, especially for students who might feel uncomfortable or unsafe.
Remarks :
The college is located just beside highway making it easy to access , and all the entertaining places like mall , pool , cafe , shopping district, are at a walking distance. The campus provides a good for value canteen , stationary shop , juice center inside the campus only . There is no need for an interview for addmission in this college , addmissions are based on your 12th marks , JEE percentile, cgpet rank , ore any other applicable exam . There is also option for direct application in the college. Overall the college provides all the basic needs for a student. But the exam conducting process is a bit complicated so student may face some difficulty.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering curriculum is well-structured, covering programming, data structures, AI, and cloud computing, balancing theory with practical learning. I chose this course for its industry relevance and my passion for coding and problem-solving. The faculty members are highly qualified, with many holding advanced degrees and extensive knowledge in their fields. They are approachable and supportive, simplifying complex topics effectively.
Internships Opportunities :
I have only done a third party internship , but the college provides some special privileges for inters students like attendance,etc. the students just have to submit the proof documents and they will be granted Attendance according to their work hour and college timing .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Here’s the semester-wise fee breakdown and the total fees: 1st Semester: ?40,800 2nd Semester: ?39,050 3rd Semester: ?39,300 4th Semester: ?38,375 5th Semester: ?38,300 6th Semester: ?38,050 7th Semester: ?39,800 8th Semester: ?39,550 Total Fees: ?312,225 Exam fees is taken separately at the time of registration for examination. Around Rs.1000 . Late fees charges is applicable. The revaluation fees for one subject is Rs. 500 and for rerevaluation it's around same . There are many scholarships for girls and sc, st , obc . And every gov. Scholarship is treated as a valid scholarship. The caution fees is taken at the time of admission around Rs.1500 . Every miscellaneous fees including tution fees, development fees is included and taken at once no fees required for uniform as there is no uniform and no extra fees for books , as they can be issued from the library . There is no option of paying fees by cash , every other option is available .
Campus Life :
Smart Indian Hackathon are conducted every year . And Hack the space which is exclusive to our college is held at a regular interval . The library provides a large variety of educational books af all the refered authors. Magazines , newspaper , and PYQ's are available . There are many cultural groups and technical groups , the sports group is seperate for each game . The NSS camp is held every year and NSS events are a thing to look forward to.
Hostel Facilities :
I am not a hostel student, but I have gone there to meet my friends, during first year the students have to share a room with 3 room mates . And after that the students get their separate rooms . There is seperate hostel for every year student . The food quality vary from day to day . There's breakfast, lunch , snack , and dinner .

I choose Mechanical Engineering as my course here, as i am interested in Automotive, and also this institute is near my home town. There are permanent faculty members present in institute. All lectures are done in proper classrooms and study materials are also provides digitally. There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. For the the students in the BTech where awarded with better job opportunities and placement.

According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .

Placement Experience :
Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

Rungta collage have a good numbers of companies in there list , and most of them visited every year for placements , almost 90% + students got placed every year and the average salary offered is 4 LPA.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
