- Students usually bunk classes during start of the semester
- Practical part is not focused that much as theoretical
Remarks :
This college is one of the few good colleges in Chhattisgarh This college has nice placement compared to other colleges of same rank Hostel are a message and corridor kinda stinks Mess food and water are often unhygienic For admission one can clear the CGPET Cutoff for computer science course is around 1000 in CGPET Basics and intermediate level questions of class 11 and class 12 are enough for preparation
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course primarily because it has more job opportunities Faculties are decent and their teaching method is average not so good not so bad either Exams occur time to time and are usually on time as per the curriculum Difficulty level of exams is moderate
Internships Opportunities :
Ninjacart, Anakage, Coderone offered internship Role was software engineer Stipend offered was 15000 per month Eligibility criteria for students was having minimum 7 CGPA or 70% percentage They also offer PPO.
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement for a student is having no backlogs Companies such as Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Accenture and cognizant visited Highest package is 5 Lakhs per annum Lowest Package is 2.5 Lakhs Per Annum Around 30% students get placed
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fee is paid every semester Fee for each semester is around 40000 No caution fees Registration fees is 100 Admission fees is 100 Development fees and lab fees are included in that 40000 amount SC st get relaxation in fees
Campus Life :
Fest are usually held in March Name of the fest was Samvid However the fest was cancelled There are books which are relevant to the curriculum competition in sports like cricket and chess happen once a semester There is not much of extracurricular activities There are only events run by students themselves
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel fees is 2000 Food quality as mentioned before is terrible and unhygienic It is quite affordable but it isn't good In second year I opted for pg near college in chouhan town Price of room 2bhk was 7500

I choose Mechanical Engineering as my course here, as i am interested in Automotive, and also this institute is near my home town. There are permanent faculty members present in institute. All lectures are done in proper classrooms and study materials are also provides digitally. There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. For the the students in the BTech where awarded with better job opportunities and placement.

According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .

Placement Experience :
Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

Rungta collage have a good numbers of companies in there list , and most of them visited every year for placements , almost 90% + students got placed every year and the average salary offered is 4 LPA.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
