- What I really like about Chitkara University is the amazing blend of practical learning and industry exposure. The faculty are super supportive and knowledgeable, always ready to help. They make even the toughest subjects easier to grasp, and you can really feel their passion for teaching
- the chinese shop here has a cozy atmosphere and a reasonable price range, it could be a go-to for many students, especially those craving something familiar during their busy college schedule. Some Chinese food shops on campus also provide special deals or combo meals for students.
Dislikes
- I REAALY DONT LIKE THE LIFT STRUCTURE OF MY BUILDING IT JUST HAVE ONE LIFT AND ITS ALWAYS FULL ALWAYS EVEN IN THE EVENING
- second thing i dont like is the supply and back system,the administration only allow to give supply exam once a year anf even fail students at them,they should let them give back exam every thrree months.

I chose Chitkara University mainly due to its strong industry connections, modern infrastructure, and the diverse opportunities it offers in fields like data science, networking, and cybersecurity. The university’s focus on practical learning and real-world applications was a big factor, as I wanted to gain both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience. Admission Process: Exam: I had to clear the Chitkara University Entrance Exam (CET), which assessed my aptitude and subject knowledge. Cut-off: The cut-off varies by course, but I had to secure a decent score to be eligible for the next stages.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course at Chitkara University because I’m really into tech—especially data science and cybersecurity—and Chitkara's curriculum seemed like a perfect fit for gaining hands-on knowledge while also learning the theory behind these fields.The course curriculum is super industry-driven. They make sure you're learning the latest tech trends, which is awesome because everything changes so fast in these fields. We cover everything from machine learning to network security, and I feel like I’m getting the tools to make a real impact once I graduate.
Internships Opportunities :
For my internship, I worked on a cybersecurity project, performing vulnerability assessments and crafting risk mitigation strategies. Tasks included hands-on scripting and analyzing network security issues. The college ensures students gain real-world experience with projects like app development, data visualization, and automation testing. These internships boost employability and offer a glimpse into industry life.
Placement Experience :
Placements at Chitkara are solid! Big recruiters like Infosys, Wipro, and Amazon visit, offering roles in tech, management, and more. Eligibility requires a good CGPA (usually 6+). Packages range from ?8-30 LPA (highest) to ?4-5 LPA (average). Around 90% of students get placed. After my degree, I plan to dive into cybersecurity
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
the year wise fees is 85000 for my dues of 2022 batch and 100000 rupees for the new 2024 batch.it takes 40000 upto 64000 for the bus dues this academic year depended on your area of bus route.I pay 41000 for my fees fromm zirakpur route.
Campus Life :
Chitkara University hosts lively fests like Udaan and Explore in October and March. The library offers diverse books, e-resources, and journals. Classrooms have modern AV equipment, ACs, and charging points. Sports include cricket, basketball, and football. Clubs like IEEE and Toastmasters promote extracurricular growth

College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
