Rating of my College from my two and half years of joining the college.
Likes
- I like Infrastructure very much and staff .
- I like square 1 and square 2 because you get delicious food and I am a foodie.
Dislikes
- I dislike the Transportation department and the reason is that they don't give bus pass for government busses that can help many students save good amount of money every month.
- Well there is no fixed schedule , sometimes they even call us on Saturday for 1 hour work and they do not full schedule before semester as if we compare to other universities they do provide .
Remarks :
Well the factor is that I can travel by bus , approx 45 km from my home , still ok than other universities , I have talk to some people and I have seen there rankings and I have talk to some students , that make me choose this University, Than the campus is also good , every single block is good , but the one's that I personally recommend you to visit are Picasso Block , Rockfeller block , Tesla Block , Newton Block and do not forget Square 1 and Square 2 where you get the delicious food , yeah one thing to keep in mind in Chitkara there are no payments done by cash , everything is online , than other factors are the faculty at chitkara is also good , they always help students to pursue their dreams and help many of them like me to have a clear path in life , faculty is one of the main factors i have considered Chitkara instead of other universities.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Well I will talk the course I am enrolled in , so it's none other than everyone's favourite Computer Science , the reason I chose the course is because of my relatives advice and talk to some people that had been alumini of this university .
Placement Experience :
Well we are still preparing , as I have heared from my seniors that placements are good , you just need to have good marks and skills and you can get place in good companies and have a bright future.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There are no scholarships program in the university , per semester fees is RS 1,00,000/- and there other fees like if you are day scholar than bus fees is near about 38000-45000 , can vary depending on where you live , yeah no student pass for government buses, I found it very odd .
Campus Life :
Ok so my overall experience I will say good because there are many fests and competitions that I like that happens every year, and then there is playgrounds and spotorium where we play badminton and other indoor sports , it's so much fun , hey remember they charge for playing games like pool and table tennis .

College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
