The good aspects are the events, teachers , infrastructure, and security. The bad part would the education system and lectures management. Also to include the mandatory attendance for the students. The teachers are super helpful.
The curriculum is Mumbai University which is not that great but also not that bad. Students are offered subjects which are somewhat not necessary from the students perspective. Students should get a chance to choose their own subjects.
There are no internships provided by the college you have to find internship by your own. They will definitely provide you free attendance which is a great start. Also, you have do a early project under the influence of any teacher you select.
The placement are not that great but also not that bad. They expect master's graduate to get a BPO job, call center and sale. But, there are also some jobs which makes justice for commerce background.
The fees include Tution fees, caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, development fees and computer laboratory, library. The most fees among those are for computer laboratory fees, which cannot be bargained.
The college life is really great in SIES. You get to enjoy many events, festivals. SIESONS is one of the biggest event in the college where various celebrities come and perform. Also every stream had their own event all year.
There's no hostel as per my knowledge provided by the college. There's canteen which is just for food and beverages. There are private flats available near the location of college which can be useful. Students can live while sharing the rent.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
