There were no group discussion, interview or written test. I chose to attend this college because it was well know in the field of commerce and it was near my residence. The admission was conducted on a merit list which was based on the percentage we scored in 12th standard.
The academics were very helpful and detailed regarding the important aspects required to gain the appropriate knowledge in the field of commerce, trade and marketing. The faculty was very helpful and tried to solve our individual doubts. The exams vere at an interval of 3-4 months and the difficult was wasy if you have put in the appropriate hours in each subjects.
I did not opt. for internship but from what I have heard from my friends the internship is very good and they have been placed in companies like Colgate etc. They started to work in the companies right after the graduation and are having a good time working there.
The college had placement cell. Students had to pay Rs. 100 to receive professional knowledge from the teachers on how to create your resume and apply for your preferable jobs in many companies. There were an extra classes for the students that helped the students to understand the framework of a company and how the firm works.
the initial fees qas around 19500 and extending up to 21500 according to the subject you've selected. The fees was same for everyone including Sc and St categories. There was an admission quoata for inhouse students and for South Indian students. There was external government scholarship which needed at least 60% in the preceding educational year.
The campus still needs a little bit of work as it was not as spacious as it should be. There were very interesting fests like Siesons etc which held many interesting sports and events but the college permitted limited entry and most of the students couldn't get entry. The library is good and spacious with availability of all sorts of books. There are many committees that students have option to join too.
I did not opt for hostel rooms but the food at the mess was very good. The hostel was attached to the college at a very close distance. The food in cafetaria had fast food like Vada Pav, Samosa, Frankie, Idli, Dosa, Medu Vada, and even full plates of meal and beverages like milkshake, soda, water etc.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
