- The best thing of Amity is it's campus, very beautiful and spacious.The classrooms are nice and well decorated, there is also projectors attached in each classroom.
- Faculties of Amity are really Nice. They treat students just like their own kids. They are well educated and experienced.
Dislikes
- The thing that I dislike about Amity is it is situated 30kms away from the Raipur City.
- Also the placement cell coordinators are rude and don't behave well.
Remarks :
Choosing Amity was a great decision. I got to know about it through my Cousin brother as he was also a student of it. But the main reason behind choosing Amity was it's placement record, academic curriculum and its campus. For admission it was a simple process, no Group Discussion, interviews or tests were held.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Amity University Chhattisgarh follows the UGC curriculum. Every year a group of experienced faculty have a discussion and set the syllabus as per the changing requirements of the industry. They offer the finest course which includes all the required subjects along with specializations and minor track subjects. The faculties are really talented and well experienced. They treat students really well and give suggestions beyond academics as well.
Internships Opportunities :
Students of Amity need to undergo atleast two internship within their four years of study. I did two internships, one from Bhilai Steel Plant, SAIL as a Project Based Trainee for 4 months in which I made a project called "E-Vidya, a system for distribution of scholarship at BSP". Another one from NoQs Digital as a Data Analyst Intern.
Placement Experience :
The Placement at Amity is managed by ATPC and Corporate Resource Centre(CRC). They bring both tech and non-tech companies for the students. To be eligible for the placement, students need to have zero backlogs. The frequent company that visits Amity is, Genpact, IBM, DXC technology etc. The highest package received is 26LPA and the average package is 6-8 lpa. The percentage of getting placed is 60%.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees structure is as follows - Semester 1 On Admission 40,500.00 Semester 2 40,500.00 Semester 3 57,000.00 Semester 4 57,000.00 Semester 5 Semester 6 63,500.00 Semester 7 Semester 8 63,500.00 After each academic year, the fees will increase. Along with this Amity provides scholarship for the scholar students. Students who have scored more than or equal to 94 percentage in their 12th standard, they will receive 100% scholarship i.e. they will not pay any academic fees for the first year, likewise students received more than or equal to 88% in their 12th standard will get 50% scholarship and students received more than or equal to 84% in their 12th standard will get 25% scholarship. After the first year, the scholarship will depend on the student's academic performance in the university.
Campus Life :
Well, life at Amity is fabulous. In Amity, there occurs two annual events, i.e. Sangathan - Annual Sports Meet and AmiSpark - Annual Cultural Fest. Both happens in a grand level. Amity has a huge Library and curr8their building Raipur's biggest Central library. One can get all the book as per their course and curriculum. Amity has two big playgrounds. It has a cricket ground, basketball court, volleyball court, football ground and also indoor sports room for indoor games. There are multiple clubs that are run by Students in Amity, such as, IoT Club, App Development Club, GDSC Club, Piratage Club and many more.
Hostel Facilities :
Amity has 3 hostels, 1 for girls and 2 for boys as per the strength. To register for the hostel, one have to go to the Hostel Section in their Amizone portal. Hostel room is provided on first come first basis and rooms were allotted as per their course and year. There is a mess in the hostel owned by a catering service company. The food quality is good and both veg and non veg is available. Message fees is not included in the hostel fees.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose Mechanical Engineering as my course here, as i am interested in Automotive, and also this institute is near my home town. There are permanent faculty members present in institute. All lectures are done in proper classrooms and study materials are also provides digitally. There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. For the the students in the BTech where awarded with better job opportunities and placement.

According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .
Genuine review of NIT raipur
Placement Experience :
Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

Rungta collage have a good numbers of companies in there list , and most of them visited every year for placements , almost 90% + students got placed every year and the average salary offered is 4 LPA.

Placement Experience :
From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.

Students are eligible for placement from the start of the 3rd year. Approximately 200 company visit every year for hiring process. The average CTC of the college placement is above 7 lakhs. The highest offer received in college is in crore. Around 85% of the students get placed at the end of the 4th year.
