Remarks :
Shri Shankaracharya Group of Institutions has a very beautiful campus along with all the amenities that are present in an engineering college. The admission process was very smooth and easy, my admission was done based on a PET exam score but one can get admission based on a JEE score as well. The college had well-experienced teachers and they were helpful to all the students irrespective of their intelligence.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties of the college were well qualified and experienced in their respective fields. They used a practical approach to teach the course and curriculum. Exams were conducted timely after the completion of the course. College fees were feasible as per the facilities that were provided on the college campus.
Internships Opportunities :
I did my internship at BSP PLANT, Bhilai which is associated with the Steel Authority of India. I learned a lot of things related to my field during my entire period of internship which was for about 2 months.
Campus Life :
Campus life is very good, you can socialize with every student as everyone is very supportive in college. The college has a vast library where you can find any type of books. The college had different social clubs like the Robotics Club, Environment Club, etc. College event is conducted every year which we enjoyed a lot.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose Mechanical Engineering as my course here, as i am interested in Automotive, and also this institute is near my home town. There are permanent faculty members present in institute. All lectures are done in proper classrooms and study materials are also provides digitally. They are very easy to approach and helpful in nature, they help us solving doubts and gives us tips in study.

There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. For the the students in the BTech where awarded with better job opportunities and placement.

According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .

Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
