Honest College Review
Remarks :
The lush green surroundings where the college is built-in and the faculty are the alumni of JNU. The college is built on the outskirts of Dehradun but still the tranquil and calm environment somehow makes me love this place.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum focuses more on real life applications of the language. It is based more on the practical application of the course. The midsem exams are held after 2 months after the beginning of the course and end sems are conducted after three months of the mid semester exams.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In the first semester of every course the fees structure is more because of security deposit of Rs6000 but after that the fees remains the same. The fee structure is uniform for both girls and boys but there is a slight reduction of fees for people belonging to SC, ST or OBC.
Campus Life :
There have been lot of fests in the college. The Diwali fests, Holi fest as well as fests conducted by other departments and clubs be it Dance, Drama, Poetry and Singing. There is also a fest that happens 11 days after Diwali called Igaas Baghwal.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel application works on both online and offline formats but it's better if you apply offline. Boys can have a single room per person whereas the girls have to share it. The food quality is neither bad nor good. There is a gym facility for students as well for their fitness and well being.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

Agriculture department is all about Internships and we have good collaborations with various institutions and training labs for polishing the hands on practical. The college provide good opportunities of works. The departments like AME, BCA, IT, BHM has good placement record.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
