Likes
- The nice thing about the college is that we have nice cafeteria and nice environment
- Our college infrastructure is also very nice have all kind of labs library other buildings
Dislikes
- The thing which is very bad about college is toilets which is having very bad condition
- The class benches also having dust every where no one clean the class
Remarks :
First thing is that the college is not so far from my home town and having all types of courses available for students and there is no interview and written tests for admission and having very genuine fees for all types of courses and also have scholarship for sc students
Course Curriculum Overview :
The thing that make me to choose this course is that I have interest in computer so that's why I take admission in BTECH IT. The faculty members of the college are very good and the process of admission do themselves and their teaching staff and teaching methods are also very nice and having 2 mst and a final exam in 6 months(one semester)
Internships Opportunities :
Our college provides internship for students every year and students went to other cities for internship provided by college like Chandigarh,Ludhiana, Jalandhar and my other cities and having nice salary too in their intership period. Generally got internship in 7 semester.
Placement Experience :
Our college provides placement which is about 3 to 4 lakhs per year and also have internship for students in our college about 22 to 26 percent students get scholarship per year . My plans after the graduation is to get a nice government job but if i don't get a job then I will try to set my own business.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Our college fees including tution fees, lab fees, registration fees, admission fees and other compulsory charges is about 110000 lakh per year and having scholarship for sc students and for sc students there is only registration fees rest of the fees is taken from the scholarship which and my bechmates is from general category having 110000 lakh fees per year and the amount of the scholarship is given to students is about 1 lakh
Campus Life :
There is many types of clubs in the college like photography club, literary club, dance and singing club. College also have many kind of fest like tech fest and many fest are organized in our college and our library have wide variety of books and journals in the library.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
