- We like the fact that we got a big Library and multiple canteens and caffe
- We even got a SBI Bank branch within the college and multiple grounds for each sport
Dislikes
- The environment should me more clean and the maintenance should be done
- The placement rate and the pakage should be increased.
Remarks :
The college was in my locality and only this was the college which was offering B.TECH IT with placement rate. The admission of the college was open admission earlier there we needed to clear an exam for taking admission in this college but now we can take open admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The college is very big there are different type of canteens . One normal one Nescafe and one verka mil plant within the college we got multiple grounds and pitches for sports and even an bank within the college
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't but my friends have applied for it. I don't know about their experience . He got opportunities to fail internship is experience was neutral he got benefited by the internship and many other students too
Placement Experience :
There is placement rate but very low and the placement pakage is also low . On an average it is about 4lpa -8lpa which is prety low. We all think that the placement rate and placement packages should be increased
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Our fee structure vary from student to student . Those who have scored more percentage in their 12 get discount of about 5-10k per semester. My 1st sem fee was 49000. For SC,ST students structure is different they get maximum discount with low income certificate and caste certificates
Campus Life :
The life at campus is ok . It depends person to person the campus is so big we even sometimes got a bit late for classes. The grounds are huge and the environment is prety nice for everyone. Open area fresh air and much more
Hostel Facilities :
We haven't applied for hostels but our friends do. So the life at hostel is preety good they get different foods daily . They can also go out from college but upto certain time . Oul college offers multiple courses for others too

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
