Remarks :
I came through a known relative who studied here. Cutoff is based on neet score for bachelor of dental surgery. It's a hundred something varies every year. But this year they've stopped taking students by all india quota.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Most teachers are Bachelor's and Master's in Dental Surgery in their respective departments. Other professors like pathology and surgery and medicine have MBBS and MD qualified faculty. Teaching method is good and understandable. exams are mediocre not that hard. Term exams happen thrice a year and a main exam once a year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fees I'm paying is 2 lakhs. Tuition fees included alongwith hostel and mess charges. Caution fees is 7500 which is also included. Course fees is in a package system depends on the counsellor you're coming through. First years have to pay 3 lakhs as their first year installment. Few of my friends have packages of 8 lakhs or 9 lakhs.
Campus Life :
we have freshers and farewell and a lot of anti ragging orientations. We have an e library by the board of BFUHS. We have annual sports meet during January. Library cards are available we can make them and borrow books to study. Clasroom has projector and ac.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel mess has healthy food including rice and chapattis for lunch and dinner and tea and coffee options for breakfast. We have hot or cold milk options in summer. We get non veg thrice a week. For vegetarians they make paneer alongwith chicken or egg. During a religious festival, non veg is not served . We also get desserts twice a week for dinner.

To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
