- Teaching staff is quite excellent. They really support and make the curriculum quite efficient and easy for students.
- Security around the campus is good and they really makes us feel safe.
Dislikes
- Campus like us quite boring as there are no frequent events or same old boring DJ parties which gets boring after a while
- Management is very bad. In terms of collecting fees they are ruthless and doesn't understand your problems but when it comes to your complains again anything they delay as much as possible.
Remarks :
The greatest factor that made me choose this college maybe the low fees. Eventually there are factors like good teaching faulty and the highly competitive campus which giving in the good studious environment. Security within the campus is also good, these factors lead to an positive attribute that made me choose these college. Admission process was quite easy, as the we were enrolled in the university's cut off list and allotment list. You must get a bit higher than the Neet cut offs and 65% in class 12th and 10th . There are 3 rounds in this allotment. People from the state of the Punjab are give first preference usually the 3rd round is the round where people from other states are taken in.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course to become a doctor. I always wanted to work in the medical field also because I was not successful in clearing NEET examination. To get into this college you need a bit higher than the the NEET cutoff and 65% in class 12 th and 10 th. The curriculum follows the normal BDS programs and syllabus. University exams are held onces very year. College itself conduct 3 terminals for preparing the examinations Papers difficulties are set from moderate to hard . So studying whole year can get you through the examations.
Internships Opportunities :
The internship year is basically going around each department for a month or so . Going out in campus getting first hand experience in dealing patients from village areas. You have to complete your given quota of patients from each department before graduating. Usual people go to MDS or come back as staff in the college after completing there degree.
Placement Experience :
There are no active college placement available in our college. But there are many options which the students can go through • You can always take the PG examinations and can opt for MDS as this is much beneficial in this generation of competition as it improve your chances for ur employment and salaries. •The is a option of coming back to the college as staff in any of the department by giving an college examination. •If your work is pristine then you can work under an doctor for improving your skill and eventually make a make for yourself and can later open your own clinic. My suggestion would be go for MDS as it is the most safest and easy way to make you a better doctor. Only 3 more years of study and you can open up a lot of opportunities like positions in hospitals, government jobs or prefers go on the teaching profession.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Year wise we pay around 3 lakhs give or take. Each student have different package so the everyone pays different. There are no available scholarships in our college but the Kashmiris can apply for national scholarships as they only pay for hostel and mess charges. Also this year 15000 was increased in our package for mess and library amenities. It has been also seen that students from the Punjab state pay a but less than that from the other state students.
Campus Life :
Yearly there are 6 major events held in the college. Freshers, farewell, sports week, holi, lohari and Ganpati puja . And there is some DJ parties that are held over the year. There is a library in our college which has every books available related to your course. Lecture halls has projectors . There is a sports week held every year which is quite enjoyable.
Hostel Facilities :
Girls hostel is divided in 2 buildings PG block and OGH. PG block has much bigger rooms and with balconies and cost a bit higher than that of a OGH room. The OGH block has much smaller room and no balcony and cost a bit cheaper. But has very good common washroom compare to that of the PG block common washrooms. There are many category of rooms • special single room with washroom •special double room with washroom • Normal single room with no washroom •Normal double room with no washroom Each cost accordingly. You can get your own AC which will cost extra per year. Also you can keep can electric appliances which will also cost extra. Mess is not so good. Sometimes it's good sometimes it's awful. There is a set weekly menu fixed and it repeat the whole year with little to no change.

To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
