Remarks :
Factor that made me choose this university is I am from Cuttack district so as this university is in Cuttack and the oldest educational institute in my home town . I don't have to face any interview as we just have to apply for courses we want and the selection will be based on 12th marks.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have chosen these course because I scored good marks in 12th in this subject by the way I love chemistry and I think this is the easiest subject because if your concept is clear it is very easy to understand and there is no major derivation as in physics and I know there is many career option in this stream , after completion of graduation and I can pursue post graduation in analytical chemistry and in analytical chemistry there is many scope , and if I will choose reasearch as a career option it will be great.
Internships Opportunities :
No I haven't opted for any internship as university don't provide any internship facility for BSc. regular courses. But for Professional courses like BBA , ITM , IST , MASS JOURNALISM there is internship opportunity.
Placement Experience :
I have no idea about the internship as there is no such opportunities provided for the course I have opted. Just we get the honours degree after we finish our course and there is no such job and placements facilities.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Admission fees of the university is Rs.2450. The total course fee is Rs.6000 approx. Readmission fee is Rs.750/year(including lab fee,library fee,gym,ncc, internal exam, tuition etc.) NSP, ug merit , post matric scholarship available.
Campus Life :
Campus has a great ambiance and the campus is green, you can feel fresh air every time you breathe. If we talk about the fest then there are different fest that university conduct and there are several fest that are conducted by hostels from December to april. Library has all kind of books and journals and students can issue books if they need it . In our department there are 3 major lecture threaters and a seminar room.
Hostel Facilities :
I reside in the hostel run by the university and the name of the hostel in which I reside is named as New Hostel, in hostel room maximum 4 students can reside and hostel room is very spacious. The hostel mess provides lunch and dinner at affordable price , every boarder have to pay the mess bill at the end of the month. At the starting of the course we have to pay the electricity bill , maintenance fee .

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
