The college is one of the colleges of The DU. Aspiring students have to take the CUET UG Examination which is held yearly in the month of May-June. The exam is of moderate difficulty with questions from the syllabus of 11th-12th grade. After getting the scores of this exam, students have to register in the Delhi University website and give a preference list for the colleges of Delhi university that they want to take admission into. The students should make the list of the colleges on the preference of the subject they want to pursue as different colleges provide different choice of courses. Deen Dayal College is one of the top ranked colleges of DU. Though it is a part of the Off Campus but it has top facilities such as Air conditioned lecture rooms, smooth working systems in computer labs, variety of food in college cafeteria and huge library. The college provides various opportunities in sports and cultural activities. yearly fests are also held with one music concert.
Maths is one my interest fields, that is why I chose B.Sc Maths Honours. the faculty of Maths department is highly qualified. Some teachers are excellent at their work of teaching but some are not good enough which may be because of their teaching method or the fact that students can not truly connect with those teachers. But some are teachers are the best and students enjoy their lectures. The semester wise syllabus is not that lengthy and of moderate level. Students can easily keep pace with the syllabus through daily revision. Assignments and projects are a big part of the curriculum. Students will have to turn in the assignments in time. but overall their is not much pressure. Students can participate in the regular events that are held to get certificate of participation to enhance their resume. Exams are held in two intervals which are mid semester exams and end semester exams which are held after 4 and 6 months of the beginning of the semester.
I have not opted for any kind of internships because currently I am preparing for government exams which require a lot of time for preparation. So, I can't tell anything about internships. But my seniors who opted for it have given an average review regarding the internships.
The college provides placement opportunities to students through The Placement Cell. The Placement Cell hosts many companies that recruit interns and employees from the college. The average package for courses like BMS is around 7LPA to 12LPA. The top recruiters include Wipro, Infosys, EY, Deloitte, Axis Bank, and Bajaj Finance. About 40-60% eligible students secure placement annually. I aim to pursue research in the field of mathematics and pursue teaching as a profession.

Well, the campus is not very large to begin with. But you can spend time with your friends on the ground or play badminton or so. The college provides opportunities in many sports such as Baseball, Table tennis, Archery, Fencing, and Badminton. There are opportunities for football too but the football ground is small. The college has a 3 story library which can be used by students to study or to issue books or journals. Each floor has its own Computer lab which are equipped with the latest computer systems. The college has various societies for many activities like RAGA the dance society, RHAPSODY the music society, POLAROID the photography society and many more in which students can develop their personalities. Yearly Fest KALRAV is hosted by the cultural society. its a 3 day fest with one music concert and a DJ night. It is very fun. Other festivals are also celebrated in the college like Dandiya Night is organized on Navratri and many more.
Although I live in my own House, but my friends who live in the hostel seem quite satisfied with the hostel facilities. It provides free wifi, Ac rooms, good quality food, laundry services, common recreational areas and 24/7 security.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
