A candid review of my College
Likes
- College infrastructure you cant even talk about that as it is soo good. It is more spacious and not crowded. we have student launch to sit and work and we have scokets in canteen also. there are many other places to sit and work and chitchat with friends. campus is too good.
- They have Big ground where they have badminton court football court as well even hockey. And talking about canteen there are 3 like one is big mingos and mini mingos another is thoda aur and also they have vending machine near library. and also xerox and stationary shop inside college.
Dislikes
- As they are constructing a gymnasium there is lot of disturbance in road. and few part of our college looks like construction site.
- i wish they even had basketball court and other sports too.
Remarks :
i chose this college primarily because of its spacious and well-maintained campus, which was not overcrowded, and its excellent placement record with reputed companies. The admission process included a written exam called RVSAT, conducted by the college and a personal interview with the Head of the Department(HOD). Admission criteria involved evaluating the RVSAT score, 12th grade percentage, and eligibility for scholarships based on academic performance. RVSAT featured questions from the 12th-grade syllabus, and the interview focused on the chosen course, mine being computer science, so the discussion centered on related topics.On the positive side, the campus infrastructure and placement opportunities are commendable. However, there are some drawbacks, especially regarding promises made during admission. For example, programs like student exchange opportunities (SEP) are highlighted but are extremely rare and often dependent of favpouring faculty.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course as i loved coding , and computer science is the trending one in the whole world. If we talk about faculty they all are highly qualified, and worked in major companies and doing there part time and also full time lecures. there teaching method is all high level as IIT based. Its quite difficult to catch up but its very usefull and next level learning. As we see we have exams offen like internals every two months and later of sem end Exam(SEE). Our scoring is divided as 70 and 30 marks. Where 70 marks is of CIE that is internal exams, project submission, labs submissions and lab exams. And 30 is the final paper which we write.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, as there are faculty who has there own companies we have worked in there companies for better experience. i had done my internship in accenture. it was wonderful expreience working there as intern.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility is one has to have good marks or CGPA in all year and they will get the opportunity to attend interviews for well known companies. As ours is the first batch still we have not faced any visiters or interview.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly fee for the course is rupees 1,71,000, divided into 70,000(fee1), 80,000(fee2) and 21,000 for skill development and exam charges. Over four years, the total fee amounts to 684000. this fee includes tuition, lab and development charges with additional one time costs for admission or registration, as applicable. Caution deposits, if required, are not detailed here. Students from general or management categories pay the full fee, while SC/ST/OBC/EWS students may receive reductions or government and financial need, skill-based scholarships for technical proficiency, and institutional waivers for top performers. Batchmates in reserved categories often pay reduced fees depending on their scholarship eligibility. For each year, the fee structure changes as there will extra skills will be added.

Hostel Facilities :
No as i am not hostelite i dont know much about hostel. As i have friends they had said few things about hostel. Te hostel food is good as they said there will be even snacks given every day after lunch in evening and the menu is also good they even cook nonveg for nonvegetarians. i dont know munch about registarting process and cost of it.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
