Reality check of RVU

- college timings, class durations, teaching methods by few faculty
- parking space, huge crowd, lot of assignments
Remarks :
I chose this college because we have the option to choose our minors/electives from other Schools/Branches of RVU. Its like open education. They really help in upskilling ourselves with public speaking and presentations. Even technical skills are provided like R programming, python etc
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well trained and knowledgeable with many years of experience. Only few of them lack the ability to teach students in an interesting manner. Course curriculum is good but we'll need much more than that to crack interviews at good companies.
Internships Opportunities :
I havent opted for internships yet. It starts from 2nd year. The college helps us out with internships and give us a solid two months time for the internship and upskilling ourselves to get ready for the outside world.
Placement Experience :
Placements are okay, this year average package was 4LPA and highest was 8LPA maybe. Cant depend on placements nowadays just by completing BBA or Bcom, we need to complete professional courses like CA, CS or something else which will land us a high paying job.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
2,00,000 is the fees for regular BBA Hons, you'll get scholarship if you've scored above 85% depending on the scholarship slots. I got 50,000 scholarship. If you join the college early, just when admission are opened, you might get full scholarship of the fees but the slots are limited so you need to be quick.
Campus Life :
Infrastructure is awesome. We have interactive panels, white,black boards, amazing chairs and desks, vast canteen with different food types and vending machines too. Large ground and an amazing Library constructed by Brigade. There are lots of puppies too since there's an animal rescue club at college. Lots of events from clubs take place. You can join and participate in everything!
Hostel Facilities :
No I have not opted for a hostel. I travel from my home from where I have bus and metro facility. The distance is manageable and college timings are from 9 so I can manage to reach within that time. Canteen food is quuite decent and affordable so even the hostel food will be the same.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

Course Curriculum Overview :
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
MSc Physics at Christ
Course Curriculum Overview :
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
