the main factors were the honours and the RV brand these two factors made me choose this college. I only wrote an online test (Covid time) when applying to the college and that I did not give an interview or GD i heard from some of my friends that they had given interviews I am not sure why I didn't give one but i beleive now it's because mandatory to give an interview when joining
the course is and subjects are actually pretty good the college is trying to give us real life skills and not just theoretical knowledge we learnt advance Excel in our first year and during our Second year we learnt how to use ERP systems a for our minor subject we can choose from other departments which is really usefull I personally have chosen AI as my minor. The faculty is really qualified and many of them are approachable . The internal exams depend on when the prof wants to conduct them and the end sems are in December and April . we get 10 days before the exam for study holidays
i found an internship on my own witha mutual fund company . Few companies that had come were not useful they were either glorified sales jobs or you didn't learn anything. The avg stipend I think was around 2000 which for a college student is a lot i even turned down doing accounting work for an NGO which had. stipend of 8000 because I wouldn't learnt anything
we got quite a few internship opportunities in our second year from the college side which have a really good stipend but not many of them were actually use full to us many students left these internship to find one on their own , however this year we got quite a few good ones that might not pay but are extremely good opportunitues and even profs helped by providing internships with people they know , This year the placement opportunities have increased EY came this year and last year Deloitte a senior got places with Deloitte and a few of my friends got into EY
i didn't apply for scholarship but some of my friends have and from what I know few of them are in full scholarship while few or on partial scholarships. Those on scholarships need to pay the years fees and they will later get a check for the fee amount from the college. On applying i payed 25,000 for blocking the seat after i got in and 2 paymenta of 55 thousand and 80 thousand . and later an exam fee of 6000 . I think the fees has increased for the new batches .
Campus Life is really good , We don't really have an annual fest other than Sports day as we are a new college however we share a campus with RVCE who have annual fests like 8th Mile . We Just got a new library building with ample seating with easy access to journals and books. Each class comes with a smartboard which makes presentation very easy . There are many clubs on campus including finance clubs, animals clubs , dance clubs, astrology clubs etc You can definitely find a club of your intrest here
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.
I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities
The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum
The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
