Remarks :
I had to choose this couse because i was not able to get seat through CET, so this has CS which i was intrested in but as i was bad in physics and chemitry this course doesnt have those subjects so that made me join it, also RV college of engineering being top 1 pvt engineering clg in banglore and RV university being in same campus as a sister institute it made me truth the college there are no written exams or any interviews, students can join based on there CET ranking and board exam marks good thing is it is an RSST trust, which is a 100 years old, Bad is that campus is undergoing a lot of construnction work admission can be done being presnt in one day as my course doesnt have any cut off thing for its KCET ranking, for students outside karanataka can enroll through their other exams if the have 80% plus percentage in board exams that is only thing or cut off criteria, so it is very easy to enroll, they will collect the confimation fees of around 5000 rs to block a seat
Course Curriculum Overview :
This couse doenst have P cycle or C cycle as other typical college, it is an autonomus syllabus, so it is good there are 8 semesters which willbe 4 year couse, being BSC also it is a HONOR degree which we recive so it will be a 4 year course not 3 year regular BSc, all the faculties are highly skilled, and have past experninces, our syallbus are very adaptive to the industry requiremnt, it is all updated thing and we do have more of hands on work rather than book and pen work exams are not so difficlut if we cope up and attend all the classes teaching methods include smart board. chalk less lectures, tech oriented
Internships Opportunities :
i have done 3 internships in college but is not paid as i am still in 5th sem and i have one more year for paid interships, our placemnt cell will be tied up with the RVCE placemnt cell them being top 1 will be plus point for us same companies we will also be given chnace in
Placement Experience :
Not sure as our is the first batch will have to wait to learn about it, many companies are listed out, also professors have very good connection with the industry they help us get the internships very easily as of now, no problem for it
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Everyyear I paid 1,71,000 1,71,000 * 4 years That will include all tution fees, caution fees, registartion fees, admission fees, lab fees no extra will be charged no categorgy wise seats are alloated for Btech they will take from CET 1,25,000 per year also from managemnt quota it is around 4,00,000 per year of cs branch It was 1,71,000 for ur batch and has been increasing, i think it is around 2,25,000 for new batch Scholarship will provided for top 15 students of whole batch around 15% of fees will be reduced, i had recived a 25,000 scholarship
Campus Life :
PARVA and KANNADA HABBA will be conducted, there is no specific months it will be scheduled according to academic timetable when it wil free from exams, they are big fests, else kannada rajysotava, onam, halloween, AUTOEXPO will be on throughout the years, a huge 4 floor library will be ready in a month it includes digital libraray also, extra activites include NCC NSS rotract and many more clubs such as happytails, socials, raag, etc numbers are around 20 for every department classroom have smartboard, noiseproof, with window screens also
Hostel Facilities :
As i am not a hostel student am nit very sure but will provide basic information hostel is very near to academic blocks, it has wifi facilty, 2 sharing to 4 sharing is also available with a very goog tasty food provided without any quantity limit to eat, also there are lot of PG around our college costing around 7000 per month including food

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
