The college admission took place through the Csas portal of DU. I only gave the Cuet exam and scored around 400 out of 600 , i belong to the unreserved category . There were no interviews or tests except the Cuet exam.
I chose this college because it has the best infrastructure among DU colleges and it also has hostel facilities. The faculty here is good and especially for my course, they are supportive and chill. Most of our faculty are experienced and completed their PhD from DU itself. The exams are held only at semester end but there are assignments throughout the term and also internals and praticals before the sem end.
I haven't opted for any internships till date but there are available options if someone is interested. There are many college groups with students from all over DU and they provide necessary information on internships.
I don't know much about the placements since my course doesn't offer placements . But we have a placement cell that is very active and provides regular internships. Courses like Bcom and Cs have chances of placements .
Total course fees is around 1.2 - 1.5 lacs The college offers scholarships and fee concessions to underprivileged and meritorious students . Also there are other paid internships to earn some extra money.
DDUC has the best infrastructure among DU colleges, the building is Fully air conditioned. The labs are well equipped. There are multiple labs for each department. The library has 3 floors and has all the necessary books with ample seating area. We have a library card which is necessary for issuing books. The late fee during book submission is also minimal. And the library is air conditioned too. Coming to societies and extra curriculars,we have a huge plethora of options to choose from.... Raga - the dance society ,Rhapsody - the musical society ,Yavanika- the drama society ,Voices- the debating society ,Polaroid - the photography society ... finance, robotics, quizzing society and many more..For sports we have an indoor badminton court and a football field. The archery facilities in the college are exceptionally good ...and is among the very few DU colleges to offer archery. Our main college fest - Kalrav takes place in February and is a must for all the students.
The hostel has double rooms with attached bathrooms and AC installed. The hostel is right next to the college building and are pretty good . The night timings to enter campus are till 9 pm and many events are arranged for hostelers. The mess is very good and has a diverse menu with healthy food. The hostels are on the expensive end with annual fees around 1.5-1.8 lacs . There are also many affordable pgs and flats available around the campus . I took a pg near the campus which is opposite to the north gate of NSUT, the college is a 15 min walk away , all necessary facilities are available in walking distance.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
