- THE LIFE BECOMES MUCH STRESSFUL AND HECTIC DURING EXAMINATION PHASE HERE IN IITD DUE TO PRESSURE OF PERFORMING WELL IN THE EXAMS WHICH WILL DECIDE YOUR CAREER.
- NO PROPER COUNSELLING SERVICES ARE BEING OFFERED FOR STUDENTS STRUGGLING WITH DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY ISSUES.
Remarks :
Iit's are the most prestigious college of india and established as an institue of eminence.Admission is conducted by iit-jee advanced examinations in which the cut off to get into iit delhi is about under 5k rank to get textile the last branch of iit delhi. You need to take coaching for its preparation.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum here in iit's are tough and exams are not easy as compared to other private engineering colleges.I chose this branch because of my rank and my motivation to join the top 3 iit's of india.Here the faculties are very much qualified and their teaching methodology is improving day by day.
Internships Opportunities :
Consultant roles-bain, mc kinsey, nomura research approx 1 lakh per month intern Hft's- janestreet, tower research, quadeye approx 10 lakh per month Finance/tech/core-piramal, icici, dr. Reddy pharma, microsoft, google approx 1 lakh per month Startups- approx 40-50k per month
Placement Experience :
For majority companies you have to keep your cgpa 7+ or atleast 6.5+ to get a shortlist with no disciplinary action on you.Recruiters involve jpmc, piramal, dr. Reddy pharma, mckinsey, bain, tower research, janestreet, akasa airline, nomura research, 2 cents capital etc. For hft's highest package offered is 4cr and average of 45 lpa, while overall average of our college lies around 27lpa ctc.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Per Semester (For General Candidates): Tuition Fees=100000, Seat Rent=8600, other charges=5750, Mess fees(approximately)= 36000 For Annual Income Between 1-5 LPA: Tuition Fees=33333, Rest Remains the same. For Annual Income Less Than 1 LPA Tuition Fees =0
Campus Life :
Rendezvous, the biggest cultural fest of india, it is conducted in the month of october.Iit delhi host one of the biggest libraries of india along with regular updates of books and journals.Classrooms are well furnished with high end infrastructure of lecture hall complex with digital boards, speakers, lasers etc. Here majority of the clubs are run by student body and may or maynot be headed by any admin staff.For example =brca, bsa, bsw, hindi samiti, v-defyn etc.World class mittal sports complex along with plenty of eca's occuring throughout the campus during semesters that you will never get bored.
Hostel Facilities :
The food quality is very good in terms of variety provided but keeps decreasing round the clock till dinner.The breakfast is best followed by good lunch and then may be a good dinner.Hostel is automatically allocated on the basis of your admission and is randomly allocated it is very affordable to live.You can rent a room or pg in jiasarai ,kalusarai,bersarai or south delhi annexure as per your needs.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
