Likes
- I really love the library of my college. As it is very huge and well maintained.
- And I also find our canteen and cafeteria very good affordable and hygienic.
Dislikes
- The playground is small. So it's not suitable for playing sports like athletics, football etc.
- The infrastructure could have been a little bigger.
Remarks :
From the beginning I wanted a South campus college of Delhi University. And so I immediately accepted my allotment in this college. There was just one exam for admission that was CUET. Firstly I wanted Lady Shri Ram College but couldn't get it.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I always was fascinated by the philosophers whom I had read in my history books. So, I wanted to study philosophy. All the professors are very highly qualified and immensely supportive. I have never faced any kind of problem in asking or clearing my doubts from the faculty.
Internships Opportunities :
No, I haven't opted for any internships yet. But I'm looking forward to go some internships. My college provides a lot of internship opportunities. Various recruiters come to our college and pick the brighter students.
Placement Experience :
I haven't tried to know about placements much. My goals for future is to go for civil services and serve the nation. Other than that I want to try my luck in corporate sector as well. I try to learn various skills based on recent innovations.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The annual fee for every catagory is 14150 only. And there are no extra charges on anything. The University of Delhi provides various scholarship opportunities for meritorious students based on their categories and other factors.
Campus Life :
The campus is full of greenery and cute animals like cats, dogs, birds etc. I love the campus is my college a lot. The infrastructure needs to be a little larger in area. Otherwise everything is extremely worth it.
Hostel Facilities :
I have rented a pg that is near the college about 1.5 km away from the college. My PG is near green park metro station. The college doesn't have hostel facilities. So it's very important to find a good pg for accommodation.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
