The admission process consisted of giving a CUET exam where the eligibility criteria was language - English/Hindi with three subjects of your choice. Though my CBSE Board exams result was 97%. But my CET cut-off was 764 out of 800. Kamla Nehru College was third on my preference list based on its excellent psychology faculty.
My course is psychology honours. Its curriculum consists of an introduction to psychology, cognitive psychology and bio psychology. The faculty in the college is extremely good. The teachers are helpful. There are two practicals at the end of first semester. The faculty is highly qualified as the professors Have their degree from institutes like TISS, DU, JNU.
We have a good placement cell and I am myself a part of it, do most of the placement opportunities are for the BCom honours and BCom programme, but there are numerous internships that are available to every course our college is connected to various good companies like Astrotalk, Nestlé, schmooze, Accenture, Deloitte, EY.
My fees for psychology hons is 15,150/- and I’m from general category. The admission fee was around 1500 or so. Whereas my friends from different categories have a bit lower fees than me. Although admission fee was same throughout all the categories
The campus is small, but there are various societies one can take part in the infrastructure is okay. Although a new building is being constructed, there are various sports activities, drama society, Dance society is music, society, fashion, society, book, club, consumer club, and various others
No, I haven’t opted for a hostel and the college also does not provide any hostel facilities. Students coming to study here have to fetch for their own PG rooms. As the college is in the South campus, the PG rooms available are quite expensive than you would see in the north campus

IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
