There are many good aspects of my college as it comes under delhi university, so it’s itself a tag for the students that they’re studying in DU, you get exposure, educated faculty, experience, explore and learn new things. Talking about the bad aspects is the infrastructure which is not so good the facilities provided is poor like the washrooms are not properly cleaned, canteen staff is not fixed, no atm in college, small campus, small classrooms (only commerce and some other departments have a bigger classroom). The admission process was through only cuet exam and the cutoff in the year 2023 was about 720-750 for kamala nehru college and there is a direct admission with no gd/pi rounds I think there’s no need of preparation if you’ve studied well in class 12th but if you haven’t then YouTube is the best option
I chose this course as I’ve to prepare for CAT, yes that’s why but i also love the corporate world, I mean the cracking the business deals, pitching it, doing fun finance internships to get exposure and flaunting it in my resume The faculty is too cool, I swear like they’re highly educated and have adequate knowledge of the course they’re teaching and the teaching method is quite good like by making notes, solving it on board. There are 2 sem exams in 1 year and the difficulty level is medium like you can pass the exam if you also haven’t studied whole semester
The yearly fees is 16,230 but it gets an increase of 5-10% every year and the fees for every student is same be it reserved or unreserved. The annual scholarship is provided which is of 1,00,000 and it’s name is “blaise goswami award” students who have a good attendance and a maintained cgpa can apply for this scholarship easily.
Life at campus is pretty cool, the fest which is the annual cultural fest of knc is ullas yes you heard that right! Sounds great right? You have to check some posts about it on @ullas.knc page I’m sure you won’t regret! It is mostly conducted between feb and march or sometimes april too! Talking about library there are availability of many books, novels and other sacred books that you wanna read and amenities in classroom include whiteboard, desks, locker, fans, tube lights, projecter etc The sports and extracurricular activities on the campus are as good as that, like there’s a sports room and a basketball court and annual sports festival every year

IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
