During Covid this was a feasible choice. And the scholarship was also a beneficial factor. I had to fill out online application and send a video SOP. No interviews or anything was taken there was direct admissions.
If you’re choosing Biotechnology. Overall a better circular is the Dual degree course. And plus it saves you a year for your masters. The facilities are good but you will have to engage and be active in research work to build your CV
Internship is compulsory after every year which is great for early exposure of Real time job aspects of your course. You learn professionalism at the very beginning of your course. But this internship isn’t compulsory for all courses. It depends

Campus life is fun. There are many events and clubs. Each club organise their own events. Evryone has a chance to participate. There is a college fest and annual day kinda thing which is fun if you are a social person
Honestly I don’t think hostel is worth it. You pay 80k every year for a ring shared room and no AC. For AC it’s about 1.3lakh per year. And the food is not included. The mess fee is different which is my at all worth buying because the food is garbage and has 0 nutritional values. Instead a house outside with flatmates would be a better alternative than living in the hostel
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
