I was going to go to Amity Noida but this was a cheaper option but as it was cheap so were the facilities. There was no admission process, you were supposed to make a video as to why you want to do the course and everyone who did that got the admission.
The course was computer Science because of my interest in cloud computing and coding. The faculty was not good at all there were frequent resignation and then we had to wait for the new faculty to join.
I myself didn't apply for any internship because there were no companies. There was this time during Christmas people got mass recruited for an internship and later the company didn't provide them with the completion certificate.
Worst, the placement cell was bad, they were not at all good at communicating. Many students didn't get a job due to no communication from placement cell. There were very few companies that visited the campus for placements and most of them were not even for our department.
The fees was 129000 per semester in total. The caution fees was 25000. There was no segregated fee structure given to us just a normal 129000 receipt. The registration fees was counted as fees if thr student took admission.
The hostel rooms were the average ones, the mess and the canteen didn't provide the best food, sometimes edible sometimes not. In hostel we were charged for wifi which was bad and when some random student did damage to the lifts the whole hostel had to pay for it. And even after paying for it the hostel lifts were kept off and not used at all.
The campus was in the middle of nowhere and the hostel students were not allowed to go out of the campus outside of a designated time even with permission. The menu was big but so was the holes in the plate the food was always a hit or miss. The quality of water was soo bad at times people got food poisoning during to that
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
