College full of struggles

- Gurudwara is good , neat and clean . Library is also good with air conditioner and with lots of books.
Dislikes
- Washroom is so dirty never cleaned and stinks . Canteen is also so bad and not worth it .
- Classrooms are also so suffocating without any air conditioner and with so much commotion.
- Lift service is so bad students can't even go to teachers washroom or lift if students are full and not cleaned properly .
Remarks :
I didn't choose this college , I gave cuet and through that we had to make preference list it was my 20th preference and I got in it . Because of my health I didn't prepare well and ofcourse because I'm general but that's just fine . I prepared and studied hard for that .
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course beacuse its highly acknowledged and i was interested in it with all my mind prepared for the new beginning. The teachers are genuinely helpful and concerned about the students’ performance in my department. But I have heard a lot from other departments about how they don't pay attention to the students’ problems and concerns about exams and any other issue the students might be facing . There are a lot of commotion and attendance problem .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees is too much even the good colleges have maximum 18k fees for b.com hons . Even being a off campus it's too much . I asked my friends they are just studying with 14k to 15k fees with good college with the same course . And about scholarships there's no good scholarship for general students . The scholarships are many for reservation quota .
Campus Life :
The fests are not so good just fine we get refreshment for the freshers every faculty and students . Library is good and contains lot of knowledgeable books and have too many authors to study for . The sports society is not acknowledgeable and there's no extracurricular activities on the campus. There's no social club for students but like in my case we have unofficial and groups through which we can communicate with friends and faculty .

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
