In CBSE alot of rules changed around 2022. Our batch studied for CBSE board examinations which used to be the eligibility for admissions in DU but we were also made to give CUET examinations for eligibility in DU. CUET is a NTA examination offered for various universities.
In Bcom program the curriculum is quite nice. There are 3 DSC subjects and other additional subjects like GE (general elective), SEC (Skill Enhancement Course) and VAC (Value Added Course). Commerce subjects in particular are nice and valuable in terms of an undergraduate program. The faculty is quite strict and attentive towards the students yet some of the members lack punctuality.
I have done three internships but none of them were provided by the college. The college does not provide internship opportunities or placements per say. It doesn't even provide out of college internships or outside leads fof students to guide
Campus placements are offered with an average salary of 10, 00,000 but the placement cell is not that much active in the college. Knowing about it from our seniors, it used to be active but now it lacks organization and student body activity.
the course fees in total for three years is 75,975rs. If we break down it year wise then it is 25,325rs. Average fees for bcom program in du is 10,000rs. Bcom Hons fees in mata sundari college for women is around 4, 00,000rs for 3 years (full course).
Mata Sundari College for Women doesn't announce many fests but if there are any in organization then the details are forwarded to the CRs and Students a month prior. There is no such annual fest or anything that takes place. Small concerts happen in the sports ground which gives free entry to DU students but they have to go through an online portal. Campus is quite small and the clubs/societies are not that many and honestly not of any use for skill enhancement of a student.
No, our college does not have a hostel. it doesn't provide any mess or hostel services because the campus is very small for classrooms and labs. People outside of Delhi stay in PGs or rented apartments.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
