I was admitted to this college through MHTCET. The cutoff for EnTC in 2021 was 91.7 percentile in the second round. Students can take admission through spot rounds which happen at the college campus. You need 3 copies of all the documents for the admission process and the college keeps your original documents with them untill final year. The admission process overall was very smooth and hassle free.
The department of Electronics and Telecommunication is famous in the college for its strict faculty and difficult examinations. The faculties are well qualified. Most of the professors have a PhD in their subject and some are pursuing it right now. Being so well qualified, the teaching methods are no different from ordinary school teachers. No extra efforts are taken by the faculties, only reading PPTs and solving some doubts. The EnTC course has some subjects related to computer science like- data structures, software engineering, etc. But the course mainly focuses on core electronics. The department has well equipped labs for students. Every week, there are 2 lab classes for each subject. Students are free to use labs for their practice in their free time.
In the final year, it is compulsory for ever student to do an internship for atleast 5 months in order to get industry experience. The faculties have many industry contacts and help students a lot in getting their internship. Many companies who come for placements, also offer internships and performance based placement offers. The roles offered vary from front-end/backend development, databases to HR, marketing and business strategy interns.
The placement scenario is good. Even in the current time of recession, more than 350 companies have already visited and completed their placement drives in the college and the placements are still going on. In 2023-24, there were more than 750 companies in total. Currently the average package is 5-6 LPA the highest package was 38 LPA which was offered by GoDaddy. I am also currently placed in LTIMindtree through campus placement. A lot of big names in the industry like Infosys, LTIMindtree, Nvidia, GoDaddy, Porter, Cognizant, BlackRock and many others visit campus every year. The placement percentage is around 85%. Considering that many students go for higher education after b.tech, this percentage quite exceptional.

The club recruitmenta usually start a month after first year admissions of students. The college has a huge library, open to all students. All the good quality books, oftern referred by the faculties are available in the library along with some advanced, higher level books for interested students. For those who wish to pursue higher education in respective fields, books are available for the preperation of various competitive and entrance exams. Students can borrow books for one week from the library for free. Sports meet is also held at the college every year. Department wise tournaments are held for all sports ranging from chess and carrom to boxing and football. The sports club also gives chance to compete in inter-college sports events held in other colleges for interested and capable students.
The college doesn't have its own hostel, but there are many hostels available in the nearby area. Most hostels here do not provide mess facility within the hostel. There are a lot of messes available in the residential area where students stay. The food quality is satisfactory. Hostels take students on first come first serve basis. There are a lot of hostels available in the sai nagar area, where I stay currently, which is only 1km from the college. Hostel fees vary from 35000/ year to 50000/year. Some hostels who also provide mess facility charge 80000/ year to 90000/year.
The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
