Likes
- The campus is small enough but it is beautiful and clean .
- The faculty is good and helps alot in problematic situations.
Dislikes
- The washrooms are very unhygienic and dirty .
- The area of the college is quite noisy beaches of the main road near it.
Remarks :
The main reason I choosed this college over other colleges because this college was better in terms of education as compared to other colleges .The admission process for the college is in offline mode.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choosed this course because BBA course focuses on all round development of the students. The faculty is very good and mofe of teaching is offline only . The exams are help twice a year whiche are sessionnal exam and semester exms.
Internships Opportunities :
No I have not opted and internship till now because I am new to this college and I am in the first semester. The internships are help from 3 Rd semester only. But as my knowledge few of the students that were senior got placements.N
Placement Experience :
As I am 1 st semester so I don't have much knowledge about the camps placements . The have heard of the placements that the seniors got . But the placement were not that much good and the salary was also low.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fees is 30000 for BBA that we pay during the admission of every year. we do not pay any kind if tution fees, lab fee, and but have to pay in the time of registration of semester exams with 1490 rupees in our college, registration fees was of 1290 for a student without any practical subject irrespective of any department, admission fees for normal B.A student is 7180 and it varies for BBA to. scholarship like ISHAN UDAY schemes and numerous NSP schemes are available in our colleg where it provides a 8000 each month. but one with a healthy merrit and low income strata can get selected for the scheme.
Campus Life :
The overall experience of the college campus life is good because the campus is beautiful and teachers are also good. There are numerous books available in the library. The classes are not the much facilised. There is a college week conducted every year too.
Hostel Facilities :
No I have not opted for the hostel message but as my friends stay in the hostel so as I have visited the hostel it's is not clean enough and the message quality is also not up to the mark . Yes the pice is very affordable. I stay near Ideal English School Ulubari.

Good-moderate faculty but maintenance of every other thing is very much not on time The authority doesn’t seem to be concerned about the students and delays every work and at the last moment you will be running around .

Dream Campus, Not-So-Dream Jobs

There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My plans after my degree is to get a job in electronic domain while also focusing on my photography and editing Passion Check my work on insta sodaa.edits
My life in B.Borooah College as a science student
Placement Experience :
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.

There are 100% internship in Bsc agriculture are also good the average packages 3 to 4 LPA the highest package is 12 LPA percentage of students getting placements are about 70 - 80% the eligibility criteria depends upon the performance of the student on its practical work and its CGPA

The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low.That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled.And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.

Life as a BTech Student at IIT guwahati
Placement Experience :
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.

I choose this course because I am interested in learning coding and I want to seek my future in this line. I am finding some difficulties in understanding the subjects and topics but I believe it is because I am new to this field and new to everything.
