Good part about the JMI is that its one of the affordable college when its comes to Engineering and return on investment is also very high but the bad aspects is Faculty that is very strict and give back to students a lot selection Criteria is JEE Mains Exam You can prepare online through YouTube
I appeared for JEE Mains and based on my rank I got Mechanical Engineering in JMI . I wanted CSE but could not get it Faculty in Mechanical Engineering Department Is so strict and do not care for your concern especially when you got a backlog
I have done an internship in Drone Manufacturing Startups which is situated in IIIT Delhi and I got the internship with help of our placement cell director .it was so good I worked on two project that helped me to gain more knowledge
In Mechanical engineering average package varies in between 4 to 5 LPA companies like L&T , Midea , JSW, Yamaha ,Rockwell Automation ,TCS has been a recruiter from on campus but in other branches like CSE placement is much good and good companies are also visiting there.
In 3rd Year I paid 14600 and its breakdown has been like this for tuition fee 2200 , for examination fee 1000, Lab caution money fee was zero, library fee 800 , games fee 400 ,other fees 10100,So in total for 3rd year it was 14600
Life in college is amazing because not only engineering but other courses are also there in university and so many student are there . You will be getting a chance to interact with people from different department and will explore divers areas
Getting a hostel in JMI is the tough process because seats are very less and student are applying too much but once you got the hostel the fee of hostel is also very low and the quality of food is Okay Okay an hostel room will be in three people sharing
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
