Remarks :
This college is a premier Govt Engineering College In Odisha, in 2021 the state govt upgraded this college to a unitary University named ODISHA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY AND RESEARCH. These college graduates are placed In well-known companies like Cisco, Amazon, and Microsoft..etc. This University requires an Entrance Exam Like Jee Mains and OJEE for admission. If you want to be admitted here you need to score more than 85 percentiles in Jee Main, overall rank requires more than 20000 in Jee mains. This University has good Lectures, they are very helpful in our study.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this Course because it is a core branch, which is helpful in good companies for placement. The Qualification of Faculties are, they're Graduated and post-graduated from Different IIT, NIT, and various Top Engineering Institutions. There are 8 semesters in this branch. In one semester there are two types of exams One is internal (midsem ) and the other is endsem. The questions are more difficult at the end sem. There are various scholarships in this college from the State govt and central govt, such as the POST MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP, E MEDHABRUTI, KALIA SCHOLARSHIP, LABOUR CARD SCHOLARSHIP. PersonallyThis college provides OUTR( CET ) Merit Scholarships.
Internships Opportunities :
Nalco, Indian Railways, bsnl, TCS, Microsoft..etc companies provide internships. You can be available Internship in the third year. These internships are helpful in college Placement. Various types of Projects are provided by companies.
Placement Experience :
Most of the companies requires a minimum 7.5 CGPA for Placement. The companies are Cisco, Amazon, Microsoft, TCS, Nalco, BSNL, HP, Byjus, Intel, etc The highest package is 45 LPA and the average package is 5 LPA. 80% of Students are placed on campus. My plan is join to Intel.
Campus Life :
There are different Fests in this college. There are XTASY, PERCEPTION, AND ENGINEER'S CUP, They are Conducted from March to April every year. There are cricket, volleyball, football, badminton, basketball, chess, Carrom, and kabadi Different types of Sports are conducted here. Aerospace, Zairza, Spectrum, ASME, GDSC, ARPEGGIO, AND TDA clubs are present here. There are 4 boys' hostels and 2 Girls' hostels. Admission to the BOYS hostel requires rank in the first year and all other years require a CGPA. HOSTEL FOODS ARE GOOD AND HYGIENIC.

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Course Curriculum is well structured ,in first year, evry branch subjects are mostly common and from second year onwards they taught branch specific subjects. Faculties are highly educated and they are also clear their engineering from best colleges

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
