Likes
- The Infrastructure of the College is quite good. There is a road going outside the college which makes it easier to access the college. A very huge ground and also an indoor games area.
- Campus life is amazing. There are nice people all round us. Different artists come to the college to perform.
Dislikes
- There is nothing like which I dislike. There are few rules which we have to follow and are necessary its just the perspective which makes it bad.
Remarks :
The college is at a distance for my place where I can be a day scholar. I don't need to get hostel. This college is the top ranking college of the district. There are no tests needed for enrollment. Admissions are based on the merit of class 12th.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I had an interest in the comerce field from starting. So choosing Bcom was appropriate option for me. The faculty of college are all well educated. Each department has its own faculty specialized in what they do. All the staff are hardworking. Students are encouraged to attend the lectures by the faculty members. There are final exams at the end of the semester and mid term exams in the odd semester(1,3,5). Difficulty level of these exams are medium. All the stuff are from the syllabus.
Placement Experience :
There is a placement facility available for students. Placement staff focuses on student and train them for their job interviews . Placement staff promote students to the companies for their placement.

Campus Life :
Campus and Social life in the college are quite amazing. There is a huge library with a large number of the book available and have air conditioned hall and private areas. Wifi enabled campus as well as library. There is festival called Youth Festival organised every year. Students are taken to the GNDU with their plays to the youth Festival. There is a sports club. Cricket, football volleyball basketball, badminton, chess and athletics all types of games are available. Teams are taken to university level to play. There are different dance clubs like Bhanga Club, Gidha Club etc. Also the department fests. Respective departments hold their feets. Two auditoriums with air conditioning and sound system.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
