- I like the campus, it's infrastructure, everything looks good here.
- All the faculties are good for me. They give their best to help students to get good marks in exam.
Dislikes
- College weather is bad. There is no winter here as it is located in coastal area.
- If you are an introvert then it will take time to adjust here.
Remarks :
The factors that are made me to choose this college are: 1) NIRF rank is good, it is the second best NIT. 2) placement is good here. 3) Most of the students speak english here, so it helps other non speaking English to improve their and get a selection in interview.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose mechanical engineering because I loves physics, now I am preparing to get place in PSU company. Qualifications of the faculties are good and for teaching method, some facilities teach good but some others just read the PPT and tell the students to collect and read themselves from other sources. Each exam is important as all marks are included in 100. They take two quizzes of each 10 marks, assignment for 10 marks, midsem for 20-25 marks and in endsem 50 marks.
Internships Opportunities :
I didn't opt for internship. I opt for industrial training which is compulsory from mechanical department. I have done my industrial training at railway. By doing this you will get credit. Also for internship many companies recruiting from NITK , paying stipend and they offer PPO too.
Placement Experience :
Placement and internship are conducted in career development centre. More than 200 companies visited every year and select decent number of students. Eligibility criteria for placement depends on your department and CGPA cut off marks from the company side.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For ST category students year wise fees amount including hostel fees are Rs 80000 to Rs 93000. Odd semester fees are higher than even semester. For unreserved category, yearly fee is more than 2 lakhs. Some of the scholarship provided from the college are NSP, SSP, Financial assistance scholarship from NITK hostel etc.. Also you can apply different scholarship other than college one, but you will get only one.
Campus Life :
Life at campus is, for me it's average. If your IQ is good then you don't have to worry. Otherwise hard work is the only option to maintain your CGPA above 7.5 . But only maintaining CGPA is not important, you have to be good in communication. You will get different types of book in the library. Sports activities happen every months or sometimes twice a month. Indore courts are better here as compared to other football ground.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel mess is clean and looks good but quality of the food is not so good. Hostel infrastructure are damn good. To apply for the hostel you can do it in online through college iris website. Also you can go to NITK hostel trust to apply.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
