There is nothing negative about faculty's qualification bcoz they are all highly qualified professionals and they are all friendly and they will support you in every situation of your academic life for sure

Overall review I would say on curriculum and academic is good , and faculties are also good , i have choosen this course because NIT Karnataka is special for civil engineering and it has good NIRF ranking and top NIT ,the exams difficulty level is average

The reason for choosing AI is as it is an upcoming interesting thing in our daily life this course helps us a lot in future. The faculty here are very experienced and all are phd scholars in their field the teaching method here are in the favor of the students as they can choose whether the want ppts or direct explanation on board. Exams are well places in the semester timetable with required gaps and the syllabus here is in the level of the reputation of the institution

i was always leaned towards electronics projects and work, although i wanted ece here but couldn't get due to my rank most of the faculties are phd holders which do have enough knowledge about the subject some of the professors are very chill and teaches pretty well but some are just the vice versa of them academics atleast in the first year were very chill the subjects were easy but the competition were decent due to the relative grading, our branch had one eee program specific course which was very hard(and not at all relevant to first year ones) the difficulty of the exams were decent not that hard u could ace the exams even with 1 week of study the intensity of them were either quizzes or midsems once in a month

Chose this course only because of nitk tag genujnely i have no intrest in my branch anol Somehow i stidy and i dont really think it matters cuz if you are not getting into your core branch for job then its fine cgpa criteria is you need to maintain ig thats it We havd 2 internals and inform of quiz mostly 1 midsems and 1 endsems faculties in our dept csre more about reasearch really and nothing else than that and u definitely cant rely on teachers for studying its all left on you tostudy and ig this happens everywhere you just need to start accepting comjng out of the school mentality

I choose CSE because i want to become a software engineer and i had inclination towards the tech and NIT Surathkal was the best place for this. Some faculties are highly qualified and very good in teaching their course ,they clarify our doubts in class and they are very supportive in nature. But some professor are not good in teaching (like in my first semester my C-programming professor was not good at teaching although he was also qualified but he don't know that how to teach ).Some teachers are highly qualified but they don't teach good some classes are also taken by phd Scholars also .

The course curriculum is very good n government colleges like NITK, in 1st year we learn basics of each department and from 2nd year we start your own department wise studying. Each of the faculty is very nice, friendly and helpful. They completed their PHD or Research from a well know and standard college. We have 4 exams per Sem, 2 quizzes one mid-sem and finally end-sem. We get enough time to prepare for the exams and the difficulty of exams are moderate to tough.

The course curriculum is very good. 1st year we study basics from very department and from 2nd year onwards we dive deep into our own department. Each professor from the department have years of experience and did there qualification from many standard colleges. NITK is very unique college among rest of the NIT,s as it has its own private beach. Many students go to beach get relaxed from their life and restart once again. Some of the professor in our college follow talk-chalk method while some use Ppt for explanation,.(well it also depends of the subject they are teaching). We have 4 kinds of exams throughout the semester 2 quizes, midsem and endsem. Each of them have different scaled weightage and the exams are moderate based of difficulty level(some subjects have more difficulty level like 'Mechanics of Deformable Bodies' in 2nd semester, professors give though, tricky, lenght question to solve in exams)

Course Curriculum is very strict and also very helpful. There are on an average of 5 courses per semester, including labs. We also Management courses like MBA, Economics, and also we have various Seminars to present.

I actually chose NITk surathkal not mining. I am interested in tech field but I didn't get cse in tier 1 or 2 college and I don't want to go to tier 3 college so I prefer college over branch not blindly I searched many things factors and talking to many friends who are in college then I prefer top college lower branch rather than lower college top branch. Faculty of NITk is too much supportive and well qualified one of our faculty done her PhD from Isc banglore and other from IIT Bombay, and one is from nitk itself. All professors are well educated and humble obviously some time getting angry because of some silly things but overall supporting nature are there in professors . We have an app provided by NITk management and there is an academic calendar and all the exam date mentioned on that calendar and all are helded timely except some quizzes. If we talking about difficulty level then nitk math's paper is famous in whole nits on the basis of toughness and other subjects difficulty..
