Brief review Of NITK surathkal
Remarks :
I have given jee Mains exam and , i got 99.80 percentile .I had filled jossa councelling and i got this college .This was the best college according to my result .Admission process was simple but we have to be attentive during filling the information during councelling .I prepare the list of colleges which was the best according to my result by checking the previous year cutoff on websites .
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose CSE because i want to become a software engineer and i had inclination towards the tech and NIT Surathkal was the best place for this. Some faculties are highly qualified and very good in teaching their course ,they clarify our doubts in class and they are very supportive in nature. But some professor are not good in teaching (like in my first semester my C-programming professor was not good at teaching although he was also qualified but he don't know that how to teach ).Some teachers are highly qualified but they don't teach good some classes are also taken by phd Scholars also .
Internships Opportunities :
I have not applied for any type of internships till now so i don't know much about the internships .Students have to do internships in the semester break of second year and i am in first year now .
Placement Experience :
I am in first year in my college so i don't know much about placement process ,but placements are good here ,many company come here like google , microsoft , facebook , amazon , IBM, accenture etc. ofcampus highest package is of almost 2cr and on campus is around 80 lpa ,around 94-95 percentage of student get placed here.after getting my degree i will do job

Campus Life :
Campus life is good here like NITK has its own private Beach which is good place to hangout .There is one main fest Incident which is organised in first week of March i have not experienced it yet but this year Vishal Shekhar is coming in Incident. We have two libraries Digital and central(main library) in main library there are approximately 3,00,000+ books and we get every types of book . We can take borrow books from library .Various types of journals are available in Digital library . We can play every sports here .there are three tennis court , two basketball court , 6 badminton court , One football ground ,one atheletics ground , one swimming pool ,many table tennis also , 2 kabaddi court ,and many more things are available also. Gym is also here . there are many clubs here like dance club ,coding club , IEEE club , LSD(main drama club) , Genesis(Main dance club) , Hindi club web club etc.
Hostel Facilities :
hostel food is good .menu keep changing in time .We get a grand dinner at the end of the month . registration process is very easy . Hostel is affordable as its fees is only 8000(room rent) semester .

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

Eligibility for the placements is 7+ cgpa if you have higher cgpa higher the chances of you getting shortlisted for the interview and it will be easy for you Recuriters visited Cisco,Visa,Emerson,NetApp and many more for the internships and full time Highest package is 56 LPA and average package will be around 10 LPA for the computer science and Engineering for other branches it may vary

All the faculties are extremely well qualified from top institutions of the world and they are all extremely approachable and nice. The term exams we had were split like CP1, CP2, and CP3 of 20+25+25 marks each. They were some easy ones, and some application based, which develops the engineering thinking mindset
