Remarks :
I gave JEE Mains and Advanced and secured my seat in NITK through JEE Mains result. Factors which influenced me to join are infrastructure, placements, NIRF ranking, experience. The cutoffs for this year joining went high so we need to prepare for anything that is to come in future. On the day of reporting many seniors(mostly from 2nd year) helped the students, guided them and we did it without any problem. Our course is affordable and if some are facing issues then there are banks inside campus which provide loans on Student benefit Schemes.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is very good. 1st year we study basics from very department and from 2nd year onwards we dive deep into our own department. Each professor from the department have years of experience and did there qualification from many standard colleges. NITK is very unique college among rest of the NIT,s as it has its own private beach. Many students go to beach get relaxed from their life and restart once again. Some of the professor in our college follow talk-chalk method while some use Ppt for explanation,.(well it also depends of the subject they are teaching). We have 4 kinds of exams throughout the semester 2 quizes, midsem and endsem. Each of them have different scaled weightage and the exams are moderate based of difficulty level(some subjects have more difficulty level like 'Mechanics of Deformable Bodies' in 2nd semester, professors give though, tricky, lenght question to solve in exams)
Placement Experience :
Since I am in first year i have less knowledge about the detail's of placements. But i have heard that the placements are good and the number of companies are increasing year by year. The placements status for critical branch are getting better year by year and for core branches avearge and median packeges in increasing with some big amount.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
We have semester wise fee structure available, so i will be tell about it. I need not to pay tuition fees as my parents annual income is less than 1-lakh(if it was 1-5 lakhs they 60% of tuition fee will be reduced). Some fees like Institute Admission fee, security deposit(refundable),NITK Alma Matter Endowment Contribution, Convocation fee are taken for 1st semester only and also Develpment fee is taken for 1year(sem 1 &2).And Career Development fee, Health Care Facility, Students Activities Fee, Campus Amenities, Group Insurance Coverage of Students are to be paid for odd sems. Finally under Institue fee structure we have Library Resource Fee, Hostel Rent which need to be paid for every sem. There are many scholarships available through our institute which can be seen on NITK website.
Campus Life :
Student life is the best life. We have many opportunities to participate in clubs, events, etc. We have two major fests per year, one on March- Incident(Asia's 2nd largest fest) and one in the month off September- Engineer. Incident is an Annual Cultural Fest and Engineer is Annual Technical Fest. There are many books available in campus(both hardcopy and softcopy). We have two sport building (Old and New Sports Complex). New Sports Complex contains many sports items and the arena to play for it. We have 1 standard cricket ground with running track of 400m(may be 450 also), and one standard football ground. There are mainly 6 exclusive clubs in NITK and many non-exclusive clubs. Each club has its own Instagram page, web-page where they post updates.
Hostel Facilities :
On The day of reporting itself we can choose hostel and mess. The hostel are old but very clean and maintained well. Mess food is moderate we have variety of foods available thought the week. We have both veg and non-veg mess. Once in a month We have Grand Dinner(special dinner).Non-Veg mess hostel is triple sharing and the veg on is double sharing. Food quality is nice when compared to other institute mess.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
MSc Physics at Christ

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
