My first priority is this lovely campus and other than that it's a national level college And yes the GDPI will be there and you can apply through CAT or MAT exam score CAT cut-off will 70% and I don't about MAT

Factors that made me to choose this collage is NIRF Ranking and this NITK is special for civil engineering,jee mains is the one exam to get admission for this NITK no other things like group discussions and interviews

For admission in this college one must clear the JEE Mains examination and the cut off rank is based on your category and the course you want to take. The admission process is done with the help of JOSAA there we have 5 rounds and then CSAB of 2 rounds, here the student gets the branch and campus which they are eligible and then by giving the required documents and paying the fee one can get an admission in this college

i wanted to explore more apart from my home town, yes i gave jee mains for the college ,i had a decent percentile in the exam through which i got this college pros:-it is amongst the top 3 nits in india, private beach, life is pretty chill here, seniors are way too helpful, better surrounding cons: frequent power cuts(although now the intensity is very low), sometimes water shortage issue, the college is 10km away from the main city which i feel is a con about the admission process you have to crack jee, then sit for the counselling process called jossa cutoff is around 1600crl for cse branch(which is considered as a top branch) there were 5 rounds in jossa counselling and 2 rounds in csab there will be 2 mocks rounds before that which will give u all the instructions and precautions you dont mess up your preference list

See engineering isng any easy gig Jee is one phase engineering is double the pressure Nitk good aspects is u are surdounded by ppl who have fixated goals about life but only always regarding the studies but maybe reasearch , or any other passion But they atleast are oriented towarfs those things very much And the exposure u get here to evrything is great Cutoff cgpa depends on the branch and category again i had scored 40k ranking and had obc +state quota so was lucky to get a seat here and yea clearing jee mains is how you get into nits

I have given jee Mains exam and , i got 99.80 percentile .I had filled jossa councelling and i got this college .This was the best college according to my result .Admission process was simple but we have to be attentive during filling the information during councelling .I prepare the list of colleges which was the best according to my result by checking the previous year cutoff on websites .

We can enroll the btech admission through JEE Mains exam, after giving the exam as per the cutoff we get seat in the colleges like NITK, IIIT, etc after selecting the college we have reporting day in the selected institute and on my reporting day i didn't dace any issues because seniors helped me through the process.

I gave JEE Mains and Advanced and secured my seat in NITK through JEE Mains result. Factors which influenced me to join are infrastructure, placements, NIRF ranking, experience. The cutoffs for this year joining went high so we need to prepare for anything that is to come in future. On the day of reporting many seniors(mostly from 2nd year) helped the students, guided them and we did it without any problem. Our course is affordable and if some are facing issues then there are banks inside campus which provide loans on Student benefit Schemes.

Good Factors are Good Campus life Good Academics bad Factors are No Facilities for Research. We need to write JEE Mains exams to secure a seat in this College with a percentile of minimum 98 or above.

Anyone who joined to nitk have to crack jee mains with a good rank as it is 2nd rank nit so cutoff is going to very low mean competition is high my jee mains crl was 34000 so I get admission into it in mining branch.there is many things which u love in this college like it has a private beach, swimming pool,too large ground many court like volleyball court, basketball court,4 badminton net etc . But the thing u don't love is there is a huge difference in the rank between home state students and other states students because this college provide 50% home state quota.so my percentile was 98 and one of my friend who is from Karnataka his percentile was 95 but we both get same branch which is disappointed me some time initially but after some time in the college u realise only come in the college is not big deal u have to maintain ur capability as before coming to college. I am a dropper so I follow online course available on utube in free like Abj sir on mohit tyagi channel etc....
