Factors that made me to choose this collage is NIRF Ranking and this NITK is special for civil engineering, jee mains is the one exam to get admission for this NITK no other things like group discussions and interviews
Overall review I would say on curriculum and academic is good , and faculties are also good , i have choosen this course because NIT Karnataka is special for civil engineering and it has good NIRF ranking and top NIT ,the exams difficulty level is average
Yearly we have two semesters, fee is paid for each sem at a time ,per sem the academic fee is 62500 rupees it includes all tuition fees , caution fees , registration fees, development fees ,lab fees and other compulsary charges. For the others batch mates who's income is below one lakh they get almost refund of their fee and for st and sc people their fee payment relatively lesser than obc category students
Engi fest is conducted mostly in October or November and India's 2nd biggest fest incident held on March mostly, you will find plenty of books and journals in the central library and libraries are very good place to study. Here we only have two ground they are enough for the students to play I would say regarding sports like outdoor games it is bad , for badminton there are 6 courts 3 wooden and 3 normal courts, hackathon and wash express are the websites run by students
Food quality is average I would say ,but you can't eat this food whole year , coming to infrastructure it is too bad for 1st year and 3rd and 4 th year student ,2nd year student block is nice to stay , hostel blocks are very old even academic blocks of some branches, registration process for hostel and affordability collage staff informs via mails

All the faculties are extremely well qualified from top institutions of the world and they are all extremely approachable and nice. The term exams we had were split like CP1, CP2, and CP3 of 20+25+25 marks each. They were some easy ones, and some application based, which develops the engineering thinking mindset
